 Metrograft does not generate any sales tax revenue. It takes regressive sales tax and flushes it Downtown. The City's share of sales tax revenue has gone up only $50,000 in a decade. If you imploding together phonies led by Petta want to do something positive you would increase the City's share. Naah, let Petta move Downtown on the taxpayer and give the Metrograft planners a big raise for raping the taxpayers. |

Moving Stanford Home again a waste of money
Re Dec. 13 article, “Stanford Mansion on the move again”: Shame on the Niskayuna Planning Board for approving. Shame on Highbridge Development for asking. Are they so wealthy they can risk spending another $250,000 to relocate the old Stanford Mansion for the second time?
Why not donate that money to the local food bank, or a deserving charity. This is the season for giving. A real waste of money — leave the mansion where it is.
