Then don't go around say one denomination, YOUR denomination is the "Truth, Light, and The Way...Since the Bishops and Priests were chosen by the Pope for which you claim Jesus acts through, that would mean Jesus selected child molesters to watch over the flock.  Most other denominations preach finding salvation through Jesus Christ, not the Pope or the Virgin Mary, or Saints.  The Non Catholic Churches make no claim to a central hierarchy that Jesus directly works through.

And I was raised catholic and attended catholic school.

But I do believe in freedom of religion and wouldn't force my beliefs on anyone else.

The Catholic Church preaches salvation through Jesus Christ -- has NEVER taught salvation through the Pope or the Virgin Mary or Saints.  And I will continue to believe and say that Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Light .. and continue to believe and say that Jesus is most profoundly and completely found when a person is in communion with the Catholic Church.   If you don't like that -- that is just too bad.

Also - the Catholic Church is THE CHURCH ... not a denomination.  

BTW - most protestant denominations have an organizational structure or hierarchy  AND child molestors and a whole host of human problems within its ranks, too.
