no one ever told anyone that they have to say merry christmas.....but if I say it to you is that an issue? do folks have me me me written all over them? I dont care if you say happy holidays to me.....why is it a conversation?

Corporate America has seen fit to bombard us even before Thanksgiving with all the pomp and circumstance.
Every year it gets earliler and earlier.....and for each Holiday too
America is losing traditions.....and it won't belong when it will be ONE big holiday combining all holidays.
So advertising will be 365 days a year.......glad I won't be around to take part......LOL
PLEASE LET THE HAMPSTER LIVE......

There's a reason Christmas is a Federal Holiday.....I dont see ANYWHERE in the bible/koran/old/new testaments/ or even those other books left out by everyone but the catholics about the government making it a holiday...
do we really think god said SHOP AT 10PM THANKSGIVING TO GET GOOD DEALS AND YOU GET TO SIT NEXT TO ST.PETER?????
we have allowed ourselves to be turned into hampsters that run this stupid wheel of credit/$$ etc for crap.....I mean if you call christmas the holiday for gifts...GO AHEAD......if you call christmas a religious observance then dont buy the gifts

We have one of those pre-lit fake trees and have for years. It always seemed kinda stupid to us, for folks to grow a tree, chop it down, sell it, use it for 1-2 weeks and then throw it out! It just seems like a waste of money.
We do like the smell of a fresh cut pine tree, so we will usually buy a fresh wreath and hang it in the house. |
