Does Neil live in Schenectady? I really don't care for all that Metroplex emphasis, but what Neil says about Roger's budgeting experience is VERY important. I spoke to Roger briefly about some city government issues when he came around campaigning, and I came away with the impression that he knows what he is doing when it comes to fiscal issues and also that he will recognize incompetence and chicanery when he sees them and will be intolerant of that kind of crap.

He may not live there, but thanks to the powers that be now, he does have an interest in what goes on there.  A VERY BIG interest, now that they moved PC's executives downtown.

Yes he does live in schenectady. The golubs have dumped a ton of $$$$ in schenectady. They must be just as frustrated by what the city has become. Not to mention the surrounding towns.

Neil Golub is the biggest job creator in the County. The business community knows what idiots currently haunt City Hall. Roger Hull has the education, the vision, the budgeting expertise to turn this mess around. If McCarthy wins the City and its few remaining residents will both be in bankruptcy. McCarthy will pick Linda Bellick to take his seat on City Council.

Hull also created 'Metroplex', an entity that you have railed against for years benny.

We'll see what happens today, but I expect the '1000 paper cuts' canidate to take power in Jan.

Yes, Hull did help in the inception, but the bastardization of the entire economic development agency has happened under the guise of the DEMS both at the City and County level.

Here's hoping the 1000 paper cuts candidate does become Mayor. The bomb scare and fire at the Schenectady High School definitely pushed voters on the fence over to the Hull camp. If it's unsafe to walk the streets for fear of pit bulls and shootings - and voting has now become a crap shoot?!? No taxpayer and resident of the City wants to continue living like this.

If the metroplex stayed the course as it was intended, the city would be in a much more realistic economic state. There were folks who were the recipients of the plex when it first started and the financial responsibility fell mainly on the business owner and not the taxpayers. But the business owners had support and guidance.

The metroplex has failed the taxpayers and businesses and should be restructured or abolished!

Anyone know what the Plex does with the repayment $$$$$ that may trickle in?   It would seem that if much $$$$$ was coming in they would have to "hit" up the County Leg. for less bonding $$$$$.
