Have noticed new const. at this location before Erie Blvd. and the RR underpass. heading West on the left even #.d side.   I know I read in the legal notices in the GAZ. about the name within the last month or so, but it escapes me now.   Don't know if any Plex funds are involved.   But check it out for yourselves.

"Plex funds"

How about using the correct wording when asking question.   "Don't know if theft from the taxpayers pockets are involved."

When Metroplex has the ability to buy a City Property which was on the City Tax Rolls and then make a deal with someone else where they include no RealEstate Taxes for a period of years or in the case of the lease to the SCCC Dorm Developer ensuring no taxes paid for that property ever again while at the same time stealing potential tenants, then they are infact raising the taxes that everyone else pays. If they are incurring more taxes as a result of a Metroplex action then they are effectivly supporting Metroplex through their increased tax payments.  You never seem to see the big picture yet you insultsult others all the time.

Schenectady is nothing like Saratoga or Albany. Folks from all areas travel to Saratoga, Albany, Colonie and beyond for a dinner, movie, shopping or a few drinks. No one comes to schenectady for these things. So it will be interesting to see how these places survive as schenectady continues to expand with an isolationist ideology.

This is probably why these metroplex businesses pay no property taxes. They really don't make enough to keep them solvent. Hell, schenectady county couldn't even support Cornells.

I hope we didn't pay for it, but it will look better than the messy area that is there now, or at least it appears that it will so far.
Of course, that stupid Club Reign LOOKS nice, but a messy lot would be preferable to that. Don't know anything about Cornell's, isn't it hard to keep upwith what goes on without Marv Cermak? Boy do I miss his column.
