McCarthy never had a new idea. Everything he does is handed down from corrupt DEM party bosses. Today he complained about the City's share of the sales tax revenue. That's working together in action! He supported screwing the City and now cries about it. Only because he was caught by Roger Hull. Another reason to dump these DEM morons including those on the pathetic County Legislator.

There are no ideas from McCarthy to lessen the tax burden on the already beaten-down taxpayers. He has NO answers on how to lead the City out of this fiscal mess.

If you have no ideas, no motive to do something to help the citizens of the City, then the only conclusion to be drawn is that McCarthy is running only to keep the DEM party rule. Schenectady doesn't need a power play, it needs real help. McCarthy hasn't helped the City residents in 16 years and it's obvious that he won't start now.

McCarthy is a brain dead DEM stooge. The City is losing $500,000 per week and Goofy has raided all balances. What are McCarthy plans for the next 4 years? Besides raising taxes and fees AGAIN. He does what he is told to do by the horrible DEM machine. Anyone voting for him is either in the bag or brain dead.

Maybe when all else fails, and the City becomes insolvent, and the systems survival is at stake, they will do what is being done for Greece-write down/"haircut" the debt and print more $$$$$.   After all the system must survive for "the greater good".   Anything to keep the current party in place.

McCarthy is a total joke. Even DEMS are running from him and his code enforcers. The latest poll numbers are a gas! Now after 16 years of doing nothing Goofy is now talking about neighborhoods and a new EMS tax. Any property owner that supports him needs help.

The democops machine has gotten toooooo big for itself. It can not deliver on all of their favors/promises made. There are many disgruntled among the ranks! And there are many that do not trust the flip floppers.

What a shocker! She meant 5 jobs for herself. Let's see if McCarthy can get the majority of DEM voters. He's dropping like a stone in the polls. In neighborhoods all the DEM committee people have flipped to Alliance Party. The DEM bully boys ripping down signs, threatening jobs and smearing opponents has totally backfired. Now they are desperately trying to keep their death grip on the County Legislature.

Yeah, they signed off on it, due to the fact that it's not their jobs.  Good thing there's no pharmacists (licensed or unlicensed) that need jobs in Schenectady.

Saving money on taxes by creating jobs for Canadians.  Makes as much sense as saving taxpayer money by ditching the fleet of cruisers for Prius'.

If anyone has possibly had more hats than Diane Marco/Gary McCarthy it would have to be the mad hatter Sharon Jordan. 90% of the City's problems can be traced to her "leadership" of Schenectady Municipal Housing. She was another DEM stooge on Metrograft. The fact that she would endorse another dismal failure Gary McCarthy is no surprise. Working together works-to screw the taxpayers while piling up the lob jobs. Only two groups support McCarthy, City employee unions and connected contractors.
