By Original Pizza .....over in dV's favorite neighborhood, a neighborhood he says is so good

There's money for government gin mils, goverment theaters, goverment hair salons, government bakeries, etc, but no money for the neighborhoods where people live.

Notice how the big cheerleader REFUSES to move into the city (buying or renting) the city he claims is so wonderful.

Optimists close their eyes and pretend problems are non existent.
Better to have open eyes, see the truths, acknowledge the negatives, and
speak up for the people rather than the politicos and their rich cronies.

SCHENECTADY -- One man is in the hospital after he was shot in a botched robbery attempt, city police said.

Just before 7 p.m. Thursday, a group of young men approached a man walking by himself near the intersection of Crane and 8th streets, police said. They tried to rob him and when he refused, he was shot in the back.

The victim managed to escape and called police. He was taken to Albany Medical Center in stable condition, police said.

The part of Town, Woodlawn, Goose Hill......all have turned into a neighborhood that the slum lords run.

this whole change started years ago, and is not extending to Rotterdam, Scotia, Nisky, etc.,

Where is the statistics that say crime is down....Bennett has not done his job....how can he....when he has to
babysit the cops so they do their job....and cover for what really happens...

something ain't right....and the citizens of Schdy County are in jeopardy.....

the politicians aren't doing anything but concentrating on winning an election....and personal agendas...

Will it be safe in the streets, your homes, grocery stores. Malls  ever?

Home owners won't buy the homes so slumlords do, and they know they can get the GOVERNMENT to pay their rents through section 8. This is why the increased taxes mean nothing to the residents who rent (or live with aunties) because they don't CARE. They are getting FREE RENT from the ginormous MHA (which is a large and growing democrap organization which specializes in getting lowlifes to come from NY and get free rent and of course-register democrap!)

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

What a shame!!! There are still 'some/few' folks who still live in the mt pleasant area. An area that was once known to be a friendly, safe community! They are sick over what has happened to their neighborhoods. They have tried to sell their well maintained homes. NO BUYERS!

And GB is correct.....the slum lords from down state will offer them $20, maybe $30K for their property and rent it out to government housing. And now it is spilling over into rotterdam! Get out while  you still can!

Although I notice when driving through rotterdam, that there are homes for sale EVERYWHERE!!! Smart move! Rotterdamians need to get out while their homes still have 'some' value!

And this is why McCarthy will likely win.

All the takers of society are moving in, while the creators are moving out.

The takers will vote for the people that give them all their benefits - the progressives.

The owners of the properties - saddled with those high taxes, are no longer residents and will not vote in this election.

I believe  you just nailed it!!

But the truth of the matter is.........not all dems are progressives. And many are fleeing the county because of the progressives. Some of these dems are a few of our  family members and friends who have voiced their opposition to the progressives. Most have moved out or are in the process of moving.

Even Marcella's got the hell off the '2nd hill' in schenectady!

So now we have 'HAMILTON HILL' and 'CRANE STREET HILL'!!! Although marcella's bought the farm with a 100% tax exemption!!

Great job....keep raising those taxes and fees so even more working folks can walk away. That will leave the rich slum lords from downstate to get these properties cheap so they can receive those monthly government section 8 checks!!....GOOD JOB!!!!!

Gary McCarthy and crew couldn't be elected ANYWHERE ELSE....just like savage and kosiur!!!

I've been REALLY trying to avoid this...

But you do know that there will be no real difference, right?....I get to choose between the guy that abuses Metrograft and the guy that co-founded Metrograft?.....Gee what a pick!

'Tammany Taxation' McCarthy or '1000 Paper Cuts' Hull
