At town hall! They put that back in! No one anywhere, ever can find the rare and exotic leaf bag anywhere unless they go to the Town Hall and pay homage to the clerk. No one has spotted them in Price Chopper or in Home Depot or even Walmart. Besides, most people don't go to those places but most certainly have to go to Town Hall to see the clerk on a regular basis. And remember, the Town Clerk office is always open when those other inconvenient places are not. Right?

Ummm you obviously do not go to town hall because
the leaf bags are sold through the receiver of tax office,
not the town clerks office.

They shouldn't be sold there at all! STUPID IDEA!

Guess they are trying to find something for the folks to do at town hall to keep them busy!

Ummm you obviously do not live in the struggling private sector...Well there you have it. Shows how much I hang around at the Town Hall counters! I actually have a life! Maybe they should lay off the staff when it isn't tax collection time or make the job seasonal! It reminds me of Curry Freeze opening and paying help in February. DUMB DUMB DUMB like most government operations and apparatchiks.

Back to leaves...
I just keep mowing my leaves into the lawn with a mulching mower.  As long as the leaf pieces are around half dollar size, they will be gone in the spring... turned into lawn food.

Or, if you have the room, mulch the leaves in a compost bin.  Chip them up to a half dollar size and add coffee grounds, veggies and
fruit waste.  by spring they will be half gone, and by early summer they will look like soil.
It's not for everyone but if you have the room and want a steady supply of compost, it works.

Box A Rocks -That's what I do with my leaves...my soil isn't that great to begin with. Heck of a lot easier to mulch them with a mower and give the lawn some food. As for compost, I throw all my organic matter into the pile. Not a big deal as long as you turn it regularly. You cut down what goes to the landfill in half and end up with some good soil to boot.
