Felloiw posters, the next thing DV will claim is that the dems CREATED the jobs at Shop-Rite in Nisky. Then he'll be saying that the dems in Schdy created the jobs that will be the jobs at the ShopRite that opens in Colonie.
Using that logic, then the dems are also the cause of employees of Walmart having their hours cut. Actually, I'm sure jobs must have been cut at Hannaford here in Rotterdam because they used to have many registers open and now you go in there and they have at the most, three registers open. Even their courtesy desk used to be open til 10 and now it's 8. Gee, the dems are the cause of people losing jobs at the Hannaford in Glenville because they are no longer open 24/7 so they don't need cashiers at night, and they don't even have a courtesy desk anymore, so the dems have caused the loss of those jobs.

The FACT is that the COUNTY TAX RATE HAS GONE DOWN ----- some idiots don't realize that property owners pay at least 2 and possibly 3 or 4 OTHER PROPERTY TAXES .... which if they go up will cause the bill to go up even if the COUNTY TAX RATE GOES DOWN.
Also - the value of a property may go up relative to other properties in the taxable area.
The simple minds of lead chip eaters like the he-she monkey can not comprehend this or accept the TRUTH.

DV, I have told you!!!!! Do you know how to read?????????????? I was NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT talking about OTHER taxes. I was talking EXCLUSIVLY about the COUNTY PORTION of the tax BILL.
You obviously don't even know what a property tax bill for Rotterdam homeonwers looks like or what is listed on it. It lists various town taxes broken down by highway, vs lighting, etc which are all TOWN.
But there is a line that is FOR COUNTY ONLY.......COUNTY ONLY......and it is THAT COUNTY ONLY portion that the rate was $228.07 in 2005 and $6.48 in 2010, so of course the COUNTY tax rate went down but the COUNTY TAX BILL....the COUNTY PORTION OF THE TOTAL PROPERTY BILL that has gone up up up up and goes UP EVERY YEAR !!!!!!!!!!!
Like I stated, the COUNTY PORTION of the tax BILL for our house was between $600 and $650 oim 2005. In 2010 the COUNTY PORTION of the tax BILL had INCREAED....that is the county taxes went UP ....to between $800 and $850 !!!!!!!!!!!!!
The COUNTY TAX BILL ALONE went UP by $200

IF the equaliation rate had stayed the same, then the county tas RATE would be going up.
You have so little knowledge about taxes and property values, etc, that you have no clue that when equalization rate rises, the tax RATE goes down.
