If Mr. Buhrmaster is using old signs (which is perfectly legal) and hasn't raised any money and hasn't spent any money --- there is no reason for him to actually file a financial disclosure.
And as I have said before -- I like Mr. Buhrmaster .. he is one of the good Republicans. I hope he wins in November. |

He will finish first in a landslide. Jim Buhrmaster doesn't need to spend a nickle to beat the Savage remnants. Unlike Brucker/Petta/Hughes he is not holding fundraisers. Difficult concept-yes? Buhrmaster is the class of the County Legislature. Too bad he's not majority leader. Then we wouldn't have this nursing home debacle. |

As I said before, I like Mr. Buhrmaster personally so you haven't and won't hear me saying anything negative about the gentleman. If he wants to be the majority leader, I suggest that he go down to the Board of Elections and fill out the form to change his party registration. I would be the first to welcome him into the Democratic Party. Finally, there is absolutely nothing wrong with self-funded and/or low budget campaigns. I ascribe to the Joseph P. Kennedy philosophy of campaign finance ..when he told Jack and Bobby "Damn it, I am just spending enough to get you elected .. not enough to buy a landslide." |
