SCHENECTADY COUNTY
3 suing to get names on Alliance Party line

BY MICHAEL LAMENDOLA Gazette Reporter
Reach Gazette reporter Michael Lamendola at 395-3114 or lamend@dailygazette.com.

Three political candidates fi led a lawsuit Tuesday in State Supreme Court seeking to revise the Nov. 8 general election ballot that omitted their names from the newly created Alliance Party line.
The Republican and Democratic commissioners for the Schenectady County Board of Elections said state election law prevents them from putting a candidate’s name on the ballot a third time for an independent line. They have instead included the Alliance Party emblem above each candidate’s name on the Republican line, which is Row B on the ballot.
Filing the suit are Peter Guidarelli, Richard Patierne and Phillip Tiberio. Guidarelli and Patierne are Republicans running for the Schenectady County Legislature in District 1, which encompasses the northern half of the city. Tiberio is a Republican running for City Council.
The three candidates’ names are also appearing on the ballot under second lines: Guidarelli under the Conservative Party, Patierne under the Independence Party and Tiberio under the Conservative Party.
Judge Barry Kramer is scheduled to hear arguments in the suit Thursday morning. ...................>>>>.......................>>>>.....................http://www.dailygazette.net/De.....r01201&AppName=1

Wait, it is in front of Kramer? Well he is the worst of a bad bunch, admittedly. But they might as well take their lawsuit papers and use them to light their woodstive. He is the biggest political hack in history for the copservative party and the democraps so that was a waste of time. The man will use only political views as a basis for his rulings.

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

Oldest strategy in the Republican/NNTP/Nayboob playbook --- if you don't have a real case or argument .. blame the judge or someone else when you fail.

Who will the Nayboobs be blaming when they get their butts whipped on Election Day 2011 ??

George Amedore & Christian Klueg for NYS Senate 2016
Pete Vroman for State Assembly 2016

Can you say desperation? How dare anyone oppose the one party City morons! Surprised he lets Roger Hull run on the Alliance Party line. Quail should pay for more trolls and have City employees put up more moron signs. Nobody else will take them.

Desperate? Check out McCarthy's comments praising Vince Riggi for his " great, positive comments at [tonights] City Council meeting"....

Wow, guess McCarthy is trying to become friendly with those most likely to win in the November election. McCarthy might want this number: 518-280-5735 - it's Roger Hull's. You might want to call him too.

mcc had nothing to do with that decision, it was the board of elections... and both commissioners agreed to follow the law in their decision,. but kramer may have another POV

anyways -- another shot of truth for you all

How dare the Alliance Party try and break the DEM stranglehold on the City? Surprised they didn't try to throw Roger Hull off his own line. They are freaking out. The DEM "leadership" should have another super secret emergency meeting at Gary's bunker. The DEM County candidates are also going belly up. Re-elect Hoffman and he might actually speak? Savage and Stratton bailed out at the right time.

Desperation isn't the word for it!!! I heard that the democops are planning on sending folks to go to all of the section 8 folks and all of those who live in the 'projects' and drive them to the polls on election day. They will give them an index card with what name and row number to use to vote!!! Now that is what I call community support and working together!!!

Ya just can't make this stuff up!!

What a private citizen does in his effort to improve society through democratic means is not a problem for me. Just because every First Responder and Police Officer I know backs the Democratic Party doesn't mean you should whine.....there are still a tiny handful of people that will vote row B.

where do you think Mad Men gets their stories from?
