Four DAYTIME shootings in five days --- the very lives of the children are at risk in ths city, shool has to go on lockdown! And that is NOT, I repeat NOT the first time that the school had to go into lockdown due to shootings ! (a shooting is a shooting regardless of who shoots whom,)
This is a k-8th grade school. I can't imagine how terrifying it must be for a kindergartener to have sirens go off, all doors locked down and being unable to leave the room your in. It's something children shouldn't be dealing with on a DAILY basis. Ask a high schooler how many times a week or a day lockdowns happen. You'll be sadly surprised by the answer.
