There (still) is no connection between Saddam's Iraq and AlQaeda. There never was any WMD's.
The war in Afghanistan was a result of the WTC Terrorist attacks. Iraq had nothing to do with terrorism... The war in Iraq was 100% about controlling OIL.
IMO, the WTC attacks probably would have happened weather Gore (the candidate with the most votes) was elected or not... The response might have been different, but quite likely, the war in Iraq would have never happened under Gore.
