Maybe he can get one of the same teleprompters that Obama has so it can at least look like he semi understands or believes in what he is saying.  Maybe he can squeeze a few courses in at SCCC to learn how to talk in front of a crowd.  Even the puppet master acts like a puppet.

Since McCarthy is broke {like the City} he should go back to his only supporter groups unions and City employees. No taxpayers in their right mind will help him since he increased property taxes 150%.

You are correct. Hull has the backing of just about all 'working taxpayers'.

However, Gary McCarthy, Susan Savage, Stratton and Ray Gillen have meticulously carved out a custom society of welfare recipients who don't work nor want to or need to...hence they pay no taxes. They will be picked up, driven to the voting polls and told who to vote for to secure their monthly checks. As with the 'select few' that they will also get the votes from, while they hold their place in line at the bank!

If McCarthy wins, I predict that more folks will be walking away from their homes in record numbers....only to be purchased by more wealthy slum lords who will be guaranteed their tax paid monthly rent check!

As far as the old lady from berne and the other from saratoga.....just goes to show ya how far ya have to go to find real working folks.

Oh and by the way......fine piece by Moore in the gazette today. Hardly bias! Pass it on!

Want to create a middle class, education-centered City without playing politics then vote for Hull.

Want higher taxes, dangerous neighborhoods but GREAT DSS handouts then McCarthy is your man.

Goofy should shakedown City employees and City contractors again. He is $37,000 behind Roger Hull and has run out of money for slimy mailers. Goofy is dropping like a stone in the polls as taxpayers don't want his 150% tax increases -lol.

McCarthy is more wooden than a cigar store Indian. Maybe he can get SS Savage to sign the answers since he only talks about abandoned houses. He caused the abandonment since no one wants to pay McCarthy's 150% tax increase. 1,000 abandoned McCarthy houses that he calls progress!

Does Hull's ad have only nordic white people as actors in the commerical?

Guess the DEMS learned the hard way that campaign ads can make or break an election.

MANY voters are going to vote for Hull, if not for his success at cleaning up a NEIGHBORHOOD (something McCarthy has never done), but because another year of fiscal incompetence will snap the taxpayers back.

Maybe he can get his buddy SS Savage to write new material? Like his one pre-written joke. The press is on this DEM pay to play. Reporters are matching Metrograft recipients to Goofy contributions. Yup-it smells. Kinda like the pollution plant on a hot summer night. Pass the popcorn!

Yeah...13 years later...It's about time.  Look at them all - Democrat and Republican.  Farley, Tedisco and other prominent Schenectady County Republicans could have blown the whistle on this LONG AGO.  It has been a $100 Million political slush fund for ALL the establishment politicians in Schenectady County.

That redistributed Metroplex money kept the County Legislators(Republican or Democrat) in office the term minimum to qualify for their pension and benefits.  It wasn't until some of the NNTP candidates began going door to door a few years ago and waking up the resident to the failure of this politicized authority.  Compound that with the economic woes we have on the state and national levels, and people are pretty much fed up with failed corrupt central planners.

Central planning benefits the selected few.  Whether we are talking about corporate America and Wall Street, or corporate Schenectady and State Street.  The money is taken from the middle and lower classes through a regressive tax like sales tax, and diverted to the wealthiest on the top and bureaucrats.  It's almost criminal IMO.  But try to find a prosecutor in America to prosecute.

Democrats pack war chest
Candidates in Schenectady County received over $88,000

By LAUREN STANFORTH Staff writer
Published 09:20 p.m., Monday, October 31, 2011

The Schenectady County Democratic Committee has amassed more than $88,000 in just three weeks, almost twice as much as it had total before the November elections four years ago -- and several of the donations come from special interests that have done work for Democrats in the city and county.

County Democratic Chairman Brian Quail said contributions and spending, aren't much different than in years past, but the transactions are happening much closer to the Nov. 8 election this year

The Democrats, who control the County Legislature and City Council, reported having a total of $120,137 on hand as of Oct. 24.

About $26,000 comes from five County Legislature candidates who handed over their donations to the committee. But the party also received another $57,273 in donations from individuals, corporations and unions, including law firms, insurance agents, engineers, architects and construction companies.

One of the largest donations was $5,500 from members of the law firm of Hiscock and Barclay, which has offices in Albany and four other cities across New York. Schenectady County Attorney Chris Gardner said the firm does no work for the county. It has, however, represented the city of Schenectady as bond counsel. City Judge Mark Blanchfield, a former city councilman, once worked for the firm.

Other large contributions include $6,000 from the Council 82 political action committee and $5,000 from the local construction firm Highbridge Development, which worked with the Schenectady Metroplex Development Authority on a Broadway building project. Angerame Architects, which contributed $2,000, did site drawings for the as-yet-to-be-built new Glendale Home, the county's nursing home project.

Monolith Solar gave $800 on Oct. 19. On Monday, the county issued a press release announcing that the company will install solar panels on up to 10 county buildings.

Contributions of $500 came from Re4orm Architecture, which has received facade grants from Metroplex, and the engineering firm Clough Harbour and Associates, which has worked for Metroplex and done design work for the city's $14 million Erie Boulevard renovation project. It appears that at least one engineer who works for Clough Harbour gave $1,000...............................>>>>................>>>>>................Read more: http://www.timesunion.com/local/article/Democrats-pack-war-chest-2245682.php#ixzz1cRuELGXe
