No break of the tax cap or hidden fee increase, $15 more per household to live in town with safe neighborhoods and a great school system.

Not often you see a resident defend the leadership of a town without being told. Thank you Mr. Roddy, if you just inserted "look down the road at the City of Schenectady - increase of taxes, fees and in a bad school system with high crime" ....I'm sure you could have brought a better perception to those angry few.

The Republicants in Glenville are the "SCUM BAG TEAM" of the county for the shaft they are giving the residents there......this increase is all in the name of patronage!

Yeah, a pretty bad bunch of people over there in Glenville.

How DARE they have a safe town with good schools and a great police force. How DARE they keep the taxpayers bills down by refusing to 'consolidate' their services with City of Schenectady?!

Yeah, it must be really harsh to live in such a nice town. They should come to the City!!! The Renaissance....filled with pit bulls, tasers and street fights.

SB, do you REALLY want to bring up how corrupt past police departments were? Glenville can't touch the history of Schenectady so you may want to reconsider that challenge.

Fact is, Glenville residents were mad and bless them for going to the meeting and voicing their opinions. Unlike Schenectady, I'm sure there were less eye-rolls and conceited mumbled remarks from the elected officials. No trash schedules running over those individuals.

Any tax increase in these times is diffi - cult, but the officials in Glenville were able to deliver a levy that is within the cap while absorbing huge increases in the state’s pension and other state-mandated benefi t costs at a time of falling revenues.

how's that gonna play out throughout the state.....who's the comptroller? Beuhler? Beuhler? Beuhler?.......

they had best be having a VERY VERY LOUD PUBLIC CONVERSATION NOW......

sure, bring up police corruption... corruption is corruption no matter where it is, even if it is in the nt he idyllic village of glenville with its opens paces and pastures and low taxes [which are below the tax cap, btw, even through they are not]//

Don't see Koetzle going anywhere. At least he doesn't lie to his town and claim he's lowering taxes or hides triple fee increases. He doesn't 'consolidate' services which would have certainly broken through the tax cap.

Again, a safe town, lots of retail, good neighborhoods and a great school district. He's doing a good job.

The nayboobs/teapartiers still don't know the difference between "shared services" and "consolidation".... and BOTH can save money if done right.
