How dumb are you? A mere photo op. A made up photo created by the dems who have a little to worry about. I mean WHY, DV, WHY are the dems trying to take the appointing authority out of the mayor's hands and into the council. You see, if McCarthy loses, he still retains the council president seat so the dems figure they will take away the pwoer from the mayor, the city has a strong mayor form of government, that is what the people voted for. So, as most intelligent people see it, the dems want to continue to screw the taxpayers, and they are trying to guarantee it by having the power still in the dems hands----the people wanted a strong mayor government, now the dems are tyrying to take away SOME of the authority of the mayor just to insure that they continue with the power even if McCarthy loses
I don't know if McCasrthy will win or lose, but he and the dems have taken more properties off the tax rolls than Hull ever did. Of course Hull did the wrong thing by taking taxable properties off the tax rolls, howver, the dems have taken way far more off the tax rolls. The dems have robbed the homeowners big time by stealing their hard earned money, by forcing them to pay the property taxes of the millionaires. \ Explain to us DV, why,. tell us WHY the multibillionaire shoud not pay his own taxes in the city? WHY should a family with an income of the NORMAL $30,000 pay their own proeprty taxes AND pay the property taxes of the multi billionaire Paul Mitchell? Tell ys DV, WHY should the poor pay the taxes of the rich? WHY should the barely middle income people in the city (the vast majority of the people in the city) pay the taxes of the super richh Hilton family? WHY should a family with an income of $30,000 struggling to put food on the table, struggling to pay medical bills, why should such a family pay the taxes for a for-profit theater whose CEO gets a fat taxpayer subsidized salary of over $200,000 and WHY should struggling homeonwers pay for the fat Morris' second STAR exemption?

YEP -- just checked the NYS B.O.E. website ---- Hull got BIG contributions from the Golubs and - quite interestingly - from a lot of people who don't even live in Schenectady ????????????????????????? Wonder what their motives are.

Roger Hull is not associated with the NNTP. Actually I think Mr. Hull's billboards are much more effective. Mr. McCarthy appears to be pushing his recycling plan and that too is good.
However, I think its poor judgement to use our city workers in such a fashion. They are the ones doing the work while McCarthy gets all the credit.
