~ eight in 10 Americans, including a majority of Republicans, support raising taxes on households earning over $250,000 a year.

Then the Senate Democrats should add that to the Obama "jobs bill" and bring it to a vote.  Seeing how they have political opinion on their side, what's the hold up?  They could sweep into power and take back the House an retain the Presidency with this proposal.  They would really put those "tea party" Republicans in a tough spot.  It's a sure win for liberal Democrats, I think they should start campaigning harder on this.
