It really doesn't matter if it wasn't reported, if it was reported, or who reports it...It is all propaganda fodder used to support or oppose a political argument.
One fact that cannot be denied is this...The president targeted a U.S. citizen for assassination without due process on claims of imminent threat. Yet we have not one shred of evidence from this administration proving imminent threat.
So senders view... that what you read or see in the MSM is probably not the truth... SO.... I don't believe that story about Drone Strikes... Probably just... you know... the MSM reporting distortions. You know how THEY are... never tell the truth and I saw this report about an American citizen that was killed by a US drone strike... but that's probably one of Senders Conspiracy stories... No way it's true... Of COURSE! |

As long as you pick the source that fits your agenda. That's the name of the game. Religious books have as much truth as anything else you read in newspapers, see on the news, or read on the Internet. As long as you have faith in the source. If Box was Muslim, Fox News would be the Hebrew Bible. |

I never said I DIDN'T believe it....I question the view it's told from, the spin used, the rhetoric tossed in and the agenda wanted from each.....no party bias/support.....I'm not so 'religious' but I do believe there is a sense of common thought (unspoken as a complete paragraph) that meets up, so to speak, and generations of past make sure their whispers live.... |

There are tens of millions that believe it, and there is no convincing them otherwise. They defend their deity regardless of the information presented on the contrary. Kinda like Obama supporters. Remember, 30 years ago Time magazine and the rest of the MSM announced the beginning of the new ice age? Tens of millions believed it, then 20 years later, they are preaching global warming as gospel. And those same tens of millions believe it. And there is a "Green" industry making BILLIONS off of peoples faith in that information. Regardless of the FACT that just 30 years ago it proved unreliable. |

...And you still subscribe to Time Magazine! Corporate News knows, liberals will consume their product so they can act intelligent, regardless of the evidence of unreliable information and obvious propagandizing on behalf of government and corporate interests. Liberals suck down left wing propaganda like a Starbucks double latte. |

I don't subscribe to Time, but sometimes read their articles online. Want to see who is influenced by doubtful sources??? Check out how many posts on this board originate at a Breitbart source! |

WASHINGTON — Attorney General Eric Holder said Monday that the decision to kill a U.S. citizen living abroad who poses a terrorist threat "is among the gravest that government leaders can face," but justified lethal action as legal and sometimes necessary in the war on terror.
Holder's comments broke the administration's silence on the legal justifications for its decision to kill American-born al-Qaida operative Anwar al-Awlaki five months ago in Yemen. In a speech at Northwestern University law school in Chicago, he described al-Awlaki as concocting plans to kill Americans but he never explicitly acknowledged the administration responded by targeting the cleric for death.
Instead the attorney general outlined a three-part test for determining when a targeted killing against a U.S. citizen is legal. He said the government must determine after careful review that the citizen poses an imminent threat of violent attack against the U.S., capture is not feasible and the killing would be consistent with laws of war.
The Obama administration has refused to release the Justice Department legal opinion on al-Awlaki's killing under the Freedom of Information Act and is in court opposing efforts to have it made public.
Responding to criticism from civil libertarians, Holder flatly rejected the suggestion that the Constitution's due process protections require the president to get permission from a federal court before taking lethal action.
"The unfortunate reality is that our nation will likely continue to face terrorist threats that at times originate with our own citizens," Holder told a packed Thorne Auditorium, where all 700 seats were filled with law students, who were taking notes on their laptops, were joined by Chicago-based federal prosecutors and other observers.
"When such individuals take up arms against this country and join al-Qaida in plotting attacks designed to kill their fellow Americans there may be only one realistic and appropriate response," the attorney general continued. "We must take steps to stop them in full accordance with the Constitution. In this hour of danger, we simply cannot afford to wait until deadly plans are carried out – and we will not.".........................>>>>........................http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/03/05/us-targeted-killings-eric-holder_n_1320515.html
