Obama is trying to do an end-run around Congress to take control of the internet with a morass of regulations, costing an estimated 100,000-200,000 jobs, and potentially stifling freedom. Do you trust Obama with more power? See http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2011/09/23/senate-must-stop-obama-internet-takeover/A good place to register your disapproval is via popvox.com. Well I never trusted Obama with anything...but this is no surprise...I've been saying this would happen...the internet is the biggest obstacle to Obama's ability to accelerate tyranny. |

Of course this has NOTHING to do with cyber attacks on US Computers... It's about Obama's socialist take over of the entire world. YEP! |

Our socialist government is bigger than Obama. He is just one man. I wouldn't blame Obama, but instead, I blame every useless, ineffective, power hungry government bureaucracy created by BOTH political parties over the past 100 years. Obama by himself couldn't stop the regulations that will eventually be put on the internet to control the information.
As always, they will take control in the name of safety. Ohhhhhhh Noooooooo...Cyber Attacks!!! |

Wow! I never realized how refreshing it is to be a Ron Paul fan. Every government problem that exists (or even the Right Wing Imagined ones) are not your fault. It's like... DON'T BLAME ME... I'M VOTING FOR PAUL!
Even though Ron Paul is a US congressman, (part of the government) if you vote for Paul, for some reason, you aren't responsible for anything the govt has done over the last 100 years... Blame the Democrats Blame the Republicans (Republicans like Paul) Blame anyone but me!
WoW! That's so cool. The Ultimate Cop Out.
(No wonder the Paul fans are so happy... he will never win and they will never be responsible for anything!) |

One man one vote representing ONE district...Not sure he has the ability to overcome the bureaucratic infrastructure that was set up prior to him, and there is not much one person can do when the party establishment continues to fund and create MORE bureaucracies. Question - Does then Senator Obama bare the blame and responsibility for the deaths that resulted during invasion of Iraq, since MANY democrats voted to authorize use of force? Your argument is TOO funny...Coming from a sufferer of Bush Derangement Syndrome - Where EVERYTHING wrong with America is one man's fault George W. Bush. Problem is, nobody is buying the argument that ONE person can do the damage that has been done to America. You are a simpleton. And Ron Paul and his supporters know, ONE person isn’t going to fix it. Not even HIM. Paul supporters haven’t elevated him to Messiah like the Obama Bots |

Homeland Security monitors journalists Published: 07 January, 2012, 01:56
Freedom of speech might allow journalists to get away with a lot in America, but the Department of Homeland Security is on the ready to make sure that the government is keeping dibs on who is saying what. Under the National Operations Center (NOC)’s Media Monitoring Initiative that came out of DHS headquarters in November, Washington has the written permission to retain data on users of social media and online networking platforms. Specifically, the DHS announced the NCO and its Office of Operations Coordination and Planning (OPS) can collect personal information from news anchors, journalists, reporters or anyone who may use “traditional and/or social media in real time to keep their audience situationally aware and informed.” According to the Department of Homeland Security’s own definition of personal identifiable information, or PII, such data could consist of any intellect “that permits the identity of an individual to be directly or indirectly inferred, including any information which is linked or linkable to that individual.” Previously established guidelines within the administration say that data could only be collected under authorization set forth by written code, but the new provisions in the NOC’s write-up means that any reporter, whether someone along the lines of Walter Cronkite or a budding blogger, can be victimized by the agency......................>>>>....................>>>>............http://rt.com/usa/news/homeland-security-journalists-monitoring-321/
