While the President did reference the Deficit Commission report, he did not specifically embrace any of its recommendations.

I love this line.

Of course he didn't specifically embrace any recommendation.  That would require leadership.  The guy didn't follow the advice of his own commission that he put together.

I think that for now I will believe a 'private national accounting firm' over the government's gibberish!

Common sense knows that it would be political suicide to enforce eliminating this mortgage tax deduction before an election and while the housing market is in the tank. But it's comin' down the pike.....it has to and is already planned.

In a society in which we're used to taking direction from Presidents and CEOs, captains and quarterbacks, Occupy Wall
Street's leaderless structure seems like a formula for chaos. And yet nearly a month after protesters were evicted from
the movement's birthplace in Zuccotti Park in downtown Manhattan the exercise in organized anarchy is still going strong.

Leaderless my butt, it was organized in Canada by an anti capitalist group. Yes both protesters are very dedicated to the cause.

It's a mindless half-a$$ed leadership that has produced NOTHING of merit! They are laughable and no one pays them any attention! This movement was designed with the 'mindless', 'brain dead' in mind!

Just go to the Occupy sites and see if they are happy about this... They're not

OWS on their own power DID NOT get NY'ers a tax cut.....the civil conversation started with the Tea Party Movement only those at the top(BOTH PARTIES) were trying to put their skirts back down...rule #1 keep your enemy close and even
agree with them and pretend that you are on their side---hence the 'fall' of the tea party
rule #2 when they are not placated by rule #1 toss them a $$ bone----hence the opening of the Roman storehouses and the beginning of Rome's fall....

although this is not Rome let's hope America doesn't end up like Rome/Europe.....kindle that spirit again or this will be us:

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

STOP BEING GOOD DEMOCRATS---STOP BEING GOOD REPUBLICANS--START BEING GOOD AMERICANS
