Van Jones Warns Of A Progressive "October Offensive" Against Tea Party
Van Jones, president of the progressive organization Rebuild the Dream, joins The Last Word to discuss what Washington should be doing about jobs. Jones calls the US' deficit problem "phony" and made up.

"Hold on to your hats, we're going to have an October offensive to take back the American dream and rescue America's middle class," Jones told MSNBC's "The Last Word."

Jones warns of an "American Fall" like there was an Arab Spring.

Jones was President Obama's "green jobs czar" until he resigned in fall of 2009. Transcript below:

Van Jones: "We are going to build a progressive counterbalance to the tea party. Eighty percent of Americans agree with everything that you say on this show, but we have no voice. We know that jobs are more important, and this phony, made-up deficit stuff they talk about. We know that people who have done well in America should do well by America and start paying America back in the form of more fair taxes.

"People who benefited from the bailouts and from the tax breaks should start paying America back. They're doing great.

"Everybody else is suffering. That is 80 percent of the majority. And we're going to now have a voice.

"And you're going to see an American fall, an American autumn, just like we saw the Arab spring. You can see it right now with these young people on Wall Street. Hold onto your hats. We're going to have an October offensive to take back the American dream and to rescue America's middle class."

OCCUPYWALLSTREET is a people powered movement for democracy that began in America on September 17 with an encampment in the financial district of New York City.
Inspired by the Egyptian Tahrir Square uprising and the Spanish acampadas, we vow to end the monied corruption of our democracy … join us! We're now in DAY 14.

With added exposure and support, OccupyWallStreet is going global.

Inspired by the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood? Disgraceful-an idiotic protest against capitalism by a bunch of dupes. Mayor Bloomberg is right and its past time to clear the streets of these posers. The real agenda is to weaken America which has already been achieved by this White House.

dont worry....occupy wall street gives the 'sense' of control over it....but the real effect is when soverign coinage is lost and the only measurement will be what the government sends via your smart phone....you know 'units' ...of which
you may purchase items based upon your credit/health score.....those folks in the IN will always be there.....the rest will always pine away and seek out autographs.......

dont forget to 'level' the field our legislators are all lawyers and make the laws under which we live with 'liberty?'.........

wall street sit ins......now aint that funny.....the 60's didn't like 'the man' and now here we are trying to kill 'the man' the yuppies created......hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.....still cant find 'the man'

because we forgot the view in the mirror after we walked away

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

Frances Fox Piven, a political science professor at the City University of New York, praised the gathering. "You can start a movement in the U.S. and maybe across the globe," Piven told the crowd. "You've come to the right place at the right moment." Piven called Wall Street a "neo-liberal cancer," and finished her speech with an impassioned rap: "They're gonna suck it dry/and move it, I guess, to Dubai."

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

you can treat anyone with respect......the government and the system don't know what a person is.....individually we do.....

we can't create anything for anyone else.....we can only create our personal choices...

what is social justice?  something that makes you 'feel good'.....

what is social justice?...

social justice is a unmeasurable platitude that totalitarians use to convince the people to give up their liberties.

(Wow!  He really has no idea does he?)

Definition for social justice:
Social justice generally refers to the idea of creating an egalitarian society or institution that is based on the principles of equality and solidarity, that understands and values human rights, and that recognizes the dignity of all.

Right Wing Nuts version of 'Social Justice' as proclaimed by (the Conservative Prophet Glenn Beck)
~ " Forced redistribution of wealth with a hostility toward individual property rights, under the guise of charity and/or justice."

No wonder The Rabid Right is so Screwed UP!

Listen to the "brain trust" behind these anarchists. Best part seven months into his Presidency Barack Hoover Obama deployed more troops than Bush IN HIS ENTIRE TERM. Honk for impeachment! Toot-Toot!

Occupy wall street will be viable until the Unions get their hands on it since there is no central voice of the movement, once they do that, Occupy wall street will be history.

One of the Four Pillars of the Green Party, an ideologically Progressive group, social justice is defined as:

“...based on the concepts of human rights and equality and involves a greater degree of economic egalitarianism through progressive taxation, income redistribution, or even property redistribution. These policies aim to achieve what developmental economists refer to as more equality of opportunity than may currently exist in some societies, and to manufacture equality of outcome in cases where incidental inequalities appear in a procedurally just system.”

The key words here are “progressive taxation, income redistribution, or even property redistribution” and “more equality of opportunity than may currently exist.”

We are all familiar with the evils of the Progressive Tax. It unfairly and inequitably taxes the citizenry based on “classes”; that understood, it is fitting that it is named the “Progressive” tax system. One of the effective tactics of the Progressive ideology is the divide and conquer tactic, or at Saul Alinsky wrote in Rules for Radicals:

“Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.”

By creating a tax system that divides the citizenry into classes, it is easier for the Progressives to demonize “the rich.” Once that is accomplished, the rationale is that “the rich” can afford to pay more in taxes. It becomes irrelevant that “the rich” are also “the productive” and “the job creators.” So, too, it becomes irrelevant that “the rich” are expected to pay a much greater percentage of their income so as to subsidize the class that is not productive; that contributes little to society.

This is just a 'created' movement to hopefully take the focus of the 'real issues' facing the american people. It is apparent by watching this video that these 'kids' are being led and directed by 'others'. They clearly do not have a clue!!!

Wag the dog.......plain and simple!
