Nothing against you.....but, you be surprised what goes on at TH ...and don't tell me she is oblivious to the
news of the day
she was secretary at the Sr Ctr right?? and a friend of DM
no one is squeaky clean and doesn't have some baggage and DM read your letter at the TB meeting re
the cameras in the Brass Rail???? and created quite a stir.
I have a question from one of the seniors, why weren't they installed in the auditorium where they would
have been better served (no pun intended)
and respectfully have a good run
My wife took a civil service test and qualified for the position - thus I believe she earned the position.
Following an issue over the request by an elected official to delete town records, my wife has been assigned to many offices by our current Supervisor.
Some moves were with union approval others were not. All moves could have been with union approval if the Supervisor took the time to understand his Job
description as written in NYS Law.
It was the request to delete records by an elected official that began my involvement in our town.

As far as a friend of DM - more like work respect of her(DM) efforts while she(my wife) worked for her(DM) for less than 2 months.
Cameras - a stop work order was issued by our Supervisor and work was never completed.
Two were requested and I expressed my concern about their use, a compromise was reached.
Eight were to be installed, as it was my intent to protect the taxpayers from injury lawsuits by those using the facilities, as Ms. Marco was working on a a plan
to "raise revenue" to cover the operation of the Community Center.
Coverage was to be:
Entrances (2)
Both kitchens(3)
Food storage(1)
Auditorium(2)
There was a delay in the installation due to the dumping of construction materials (windows) in the Community Center dumpster - which at this point appears to
be a one-time issue or the dumping came to an end due to the presence of the cameras.
I will work with and RESPECT anyone in the town who is trying to better our town regardless of party or connections as I want my town to rise out of the hole it is currently in.
If you to would like to take this town in a new direction use the power of the pen and write in "Todd Koza".
GB - you are correct I am asking a lot.
I am not a retired government employee, not a business owner, not an attorney, no backed by a major party or mislead business owner,
"I work(a normal job) where I live."
While I'm here:
I am upset that both parties bring forth candidates that try to get the electorate to believe that adding a building or two will change the tax rates of others,
while true, the change is very, very, very small.
As of 11/1/2010 the Town of Rotterdam has a combined full value assessment of $2,682,150,148 so adding to this 2.6 billion dollar number has very small
effect(a million dollar increase only adds .04% to the total), in my case effects a number 7 places to the right of the decimal(.000093x), which results in a $1(one) dollar change in my taxes.
Continually updating all assessments will ensure everyone pays their fair share for services.
Retail business additions only further one cause – Metroplex!
MFH(multi-family housing) - is another falsehood - it increases building density on land, reducing its assessed value, which causes the single family homeowner to pay more for services the residents of MFH use.
I feel the answer is jobs, well-paying jobs(not retail) by those who prefer to "work where they live."
Our school districts have made positive changes in the last few years making this statement possible.
As we go forward in our town, we will have to continue to pay at a rate of about 3(retired) to 1(active officer) for police protection until there is change in Albany.
Our Town should look at the County for road revenue for winter services as there is no need for the county to plow roads that our town trucks drive on their way to plow town roads.
Our Town should sign contracts with all medical service providers to offset paramedic costs.
Our Town should work with local colleges to digitize all necessary documents at no cost to the town.
