[color=green][/color]"Dam Busters", another great WWII British flick.  In Dam Busters British Lancaster Bombers (similar but superior air frames to US B17 & B24) 'skip bombed' German dams in the Ruhr valley.  The ensuing flooding degraded German industry.  No water & no electric power makes for an inefficient work force.

The B17 was a Messerschmitt design & the B24 was a flying milk truck.  The RAF Lancaster was the best four engine air frame in WWII till the B29 made it off the ground.  Commercial 'arrangement' made before lend Lease doomed the British air frame industry.  The cost of being at war & having to go with your hand out.  Something America is doing today with China.

Now that Mayor Bloomberg has turned the 'Big Apple' into a "Festung Europa" the terrorist will go elsewhere.  Where better to ply their trade than upstate New York.  Our dams & water ways are vulnerable due to the openness of our society & poor maintenance.   Bloomberg fortifying New York City puts US all at risk.  I cannot blame Bloomberg for taking precautions but his insecurity is putting US all at risk.

Imagine if we had secure borders & 'immigration' were limited to people who present themselves in an orderly & open manner.  Better to turn New York City into a police state & put upstate at risk than secure the borders.
