The problem with stating a number without proof of its validity is fraud. I really hope that either at the debate or soon-after, proof of this figure is made public. If not, then it's still just a lie. |

The CD Realtors numbers clearly state that the vacancy rate Downtown{for offices not SCCC} is still a terrible 13.8%. Foaming at the mouth does provide retail nor offices. |

And yet you and your ilk may claims all the time and provide no proof. |

When are some of these Sybil's going to open up a business Downtown or buy some residential property? Put skin in the game. Just the opposition Death Ray stays in Nisky and Mercury Morris can't get out of the Stockade fast enough. Got Stars? |

The numbers are dismal but you have to be able to read them. Of course the Capital District Realtors are a puppet group for the REPS/Alliance party trying to make the DEM working together morons look bad. Downtown empties out and the City taxpayers, who actually own property in the City, as opposed to drooling idiots from the sticks, know it. |

eh?
there is no question that there is empty space downtown --- there alwasy was empty space. the diff is that this is class a space, avl for new businesses., not the cess pools that were owned by the lupes and harry apkarians and other gop stooges who sucked the city dry under duci and mayor al.

Taxes are increasing while home values are decreasing. And while this is an absolute FACT, Gary McCarthy(acting mayor), Ray Gillen(the plex) and Phillip Morris(proctors) and yes even Susan Savage(the failure) will try to convince you just the opposite asif everyone is dumbed down and too stupid to see the truth for what it is. Which is clearly a slap in the electorate's face.
The fact of the matter is...there are no jobs. And if there are jobs, they certainly were not created by the private sector....they were 'selected' not created....big difference. Sure there are some private sector jobs...but they were either relocated, transplanted or lured here with the promise of a TAX EXEMPT status with little or no regard for the already overburdened taxpayer.
Downtown is empty. It is void of economic reality. Downtown, is nothing more then a false sense of economic security. The cityis crime ridden with poorly maintained infrastructure, 2 hamilton hills, an overflowing dss building, gangs, pitbulls, empty buildings and blight. And Gary McCarthy, Ray Gillen, Phillip Morris and even Susan Savage can't disagree with those facts.
The only choice is to vote for Roger Hull and give someone else a chance!! Cause this bunch has clearly failed! imho |

Personally, I have my eye on a 5 acre site somewhere in Rotterdam --- to be the future home of the GREATEST BBQ joint outside of Texas. |

you sound like a brainwashed puppet ..
there are many fallacies in your statements and to lay blame at the feet of those people is simplistic at best and defies reality at its worst.. they did not create the problems -- they are not responsible for them.... etc.

Not brainwashed......prolly just been around the block longer than you. You obviously don't know nor have you experienced how the free market works. You clearly do not know the difference between 'job selection' and 'job creation'. Stratton, Savage, McCarthy, Morris, Gillen......the buck stops with them. Why? Because they are the ones who are and did take credit for this mess to begin with. Just 'ax' 'em. |
