i was presently surprised to see cnn hosting a republican presidential debate.

First....their ratings must be soaring for the first time in a long time!

second.....you can tell that cnn isn't trying to 'pre-select' the next rep pres.........blitzer is doing a pretty good job at asking questions. Better than fox....imho

I agree about Blitzer.

But if Ron Paul says one more time that we need all troops back in this country and end all wars immediately, he's gonna lose even more credibility.

Romney's made huge gaffes and gotten a lot of weird looks

Cain - I'm tired of hearing about 9-9-9

Backmann - everything's about Obamacare .. yes, it's important, but there's more to the debate than this.

Perry - seems, IMHO, to have won this debate, especially after the Pro-Life comments.

Huntsman - a close second, but he's not getting enough questions.

Newt? Don't make me laugh - it can't happen.

Is there anyone I missed? If so, they should step aside and endorse Perry now.

Oh, I forgot Santorum.  He's good, but I don't think he's been given a fair shot at questions - may have a chance at #3

Watching Republicans debate each other .. is like watching a bunch of pigs wrestle and play in the pig pen.   At least in the case of the pigs .. you can tell that used some intelligence in the undertaking and you can get some entertainment value out of the experience .

CNN did a far better job than FOX! That's because CNN doesn't have a horse in this race since they are the liberal media complex. But it did wonders for their rating!

Perry got massacred in this debate, from the vaccines to the tuition for illegals the audience wasn't happy about that. The more of Perry's record that comes out in the open the more he is going to hang himself, his liberal background and big government actions are devastating.
