Recycling laws say this item goes in this bin, the pizza box goes in the trash, newspapers go in the bin (unless wet), yada yada ...

I just saw an Allied Waste Service truck come, pick up the neighbors trash in Rotterdam - first the trash can gets emptied into the truck - and then the driver lifts the recycle bin contents into the SAME truck, same container.  

Why are we bothering to recycle?

I know that County Waste comes by with 2 trucks each week.  Can't say any different with other companies.  Iis it possible it's a divided truck, dumping trash / recyclables into divided areas?

Sure didn't look like it.

This happens all the time, there have been articles about the Schitty of Schitnecktitty doing it too, quite often actually.
