Chili is another must serve at a great BBQ ....   my recipe for Chili has gotten rave reviews ... especially at the First Annual Rotterdam Summer Community Day this past summer.  This recipe has undergone years of experimentation and variations to reach its present form ... and I promise that those who come to the Second Annual Rotterdam Summer Community Day will enjoy every bit of this awesome chili.

The best foods take time to cook ...  the key thing is using quality ingredients (preferably grown or raised locally and purchased direct from the producer whenever possible)  ....  recipes don't have to be overly complicated .. and. most importantly, one should not go overboard when ingredients like  spices, garlic and hot peppers.  The recent trend has been to overdo these items -- and that detracts from the final product.   A little goes a long way .. and avoid the  Food Network Nitwits fads.

Most important, SIT DOWN and ENJOY the food you prepare with good friends and family --- while it is always good to be hospitable there is absolutely no reason to ruin a good meal by allowing negative people to sit at your table..... you can always put a food and water bowls out back behind the outhouse for the negative nayboobs.

Personally --- I prefer a diverse crowd sitting at the dinner table --- the only people that aren't welcome are thenegative nayboobs.

Does that include the hard working business folks, who employee people that you have bashed and tried to direct customers to go elsewhere??? And from YOUR OWN COMMUNITY!! UNBELIEVABLE!!!

Go screw a goat?  DVR--how old are you TWELVE????  You are known for attacking businesses in Rotterdam.  Not good for your political persona.  And I would say you don't know "jack" about Jewish delis in NYC...kosher or non-kosher.

Bottom line is that businesses, especially local ones, that were established and grew on risk and hard work should NEVER be bashed or boycotted. They are the fuel in our economic machine. They employ the employable. Disagreeing with a local business owner's politics and using it as a means to boycott, bash or put them out of business.... is just ludicrous! And dvr is a self proclaimed liberal!!! What does that say about the rest of them???? NASTY....JUST PLAIN NASTY!!!

Was there a buffet? That's the only line I've seen him standing in (other than to shake hands with an influential priest)

I have NEVER attacked a business in Rotterdam or anyplace place else -- you are just one of the nayboob sycophants who use Hitler's strategy of repeating the "big lie" over and over again hoping that others will  eventually believe you.

As for my "political persona", i am not worried about having a "persona" -- because unlike the nattering nayboobs I don't have one public persona and another private one -- with me .. I am who I am straight forward .. and if I choose to run for public office again ..  I'll do very well -- thank you.

As far as Jewish Delis, I prefer the Kosher ones ... and no quite a few ... my two favorites - one is in midtown Manhattan and the other is in Queens.
