Yes, another BBQ place may be a good idea...but looks like someone else is already planning this.  What's that saying??  A day late...and a dollar short!   LOL

The more BBQ the merrier. I would even try a BBQ joint that DVOR opened (not really.)

Texas BBQ will be the star attraction -- Memphis ribs would be a minor player.

We have narrowed it down to 4 sites -- 3 in Rotterdam and 1 in another town.

Attract business that has "real" wages.  There are enough of resturants, fast food etc.,

Goes to show you where your business sense is  We need jobs that are commsurate with college degrees.

Residents leaving this area for other parts.  Too many houses for sale.  Don't need any more apts., condos

Attract tech high paying jobs.

Who is WE?" Your pretend friend or Rosie Palm and her five sisters?

I have very good business sense -- doubled sales at one business that I worked at in less than 2 years.  My interest is in opening a particular kind of restaurant .. not in starting a high tech business. So I will invest MY MONEY in a business that interests me --- thank you.   I don't need you telling me how to spend my own money.

If your interest is in starting a high tech business by all means use YOUR money to start one.

Exactly.....talks in the first person....

Take a ride to Clifton Park, Malta,  ssmall towns that became community minded with business sense....why

are they growing....their government sees beyond and plans for a bigger picture....BBQ's resturants they are all
there too....but others bigger businesses and Malls are flourishing...

So I am not talking directly to you.....don't flatter yourself......SEE THE BIGGER PIC....instead of looking thru

Oz or Wonderland   take your pick folks
