UPDATE NYS THRUWAY, I-90, OPEN IN BOTH DIRECTIONS.
Previous Special Hauling permit restrictions have been lifted, and travel is allowed between Exits 27 and 28 (I-90) (Both Directions). NYS Thruway, I-90, has been reopened to traffic in both the eastbound and westbound directions. Motorists traveling between Exits 27 & 28 should expect lane restrictions, reduced speed limits and traffic delays

UPDATE THRUWAY ANTICIPATES BEING CLOSED BETWEEN EXIT 24 AND EXIT 33 ON I-90 BOTH DIRECTIONS EASTBOUND AND WESTBOUND
Be advised, due to heavy rain and rising water the Thruway anticipates being closed, in both directions, between exits 24 Albany, and exit 33 Verona. Motorists should avoid the Mohawk Valley and seek alternate routes
