I have been notified by someone in Lower Rotterdam Junction that they will be having a FREE garage sale on the 9th and 10th (Friday and Saturday).  This will be in Lower Rotterdam Junction on Route 5S from 9 Am to 5 PM.  They request that you park in the community parking lot because they don't want to block traffic and construction vehicles espefcfially on the bend in the road, this could be very dangerous.

This sale will give free items to those who have been affected by the storm that came through, and if other people would like to purchase items or make a donation, the money will go to help out those in need in Rotterdam Junction.

Facebook Event has been set up.  The address is one of the neigbors that will be taking part, but it is the neighborhood.

Is this Garage Sale being organized by the Schenectady County Democrats?  I'll bet somebody will put it on their campaign flyer if they appointed the person that approved the garage sale permit.

This is not being brought together by anybody of any specific political persuasion, nor any specific person that is involved.  This was brought together by one person who lives out on 5S and wanted to help.  They contacted their neighbors and brought it together.  Also, it is being offered to ALL flood victims, not just those that live in Rotterdam Junction, or just Schenectady County.  If you know anyone that might need anything, please tell them about this.  And please, let's put politics aside and just help these people.  Thanks.

This is impossible Kevin...Charitable activity like this garage sale you mention can only be organized by a government central planner.  And this planner can earn no less than a six figure salary in order to be an effective planner.  There is no way the average everyday citizen can pull this off without the expertise of the bureaucrat or community organizer.  I'm telling you Kevin, I've been told this my whole life, it has to be true.TIC

No my "WTF" was about thanking the politicians! Where did that come from. I am under the impression someone is trying to take credit for it when no credit is due! I have never seen such a sideshow in all my life- recorded phone messages, politicians giving hugs, etc.
