This morning I awoke to sounds of calls to District 6 being called out yet again and local photographer Patrict Dodsen's Photograph on the front page of my copy of the Wall Street Journal.

For some of us the past few days were of a full day of wind and rain combined with the inconvenience of the loss of power, for others, a devastating loss of belongings and hope.

We as a town and community need to come together and extend a hand to all those who have suffered losses and those who give of their time via avenues such as the Red Cross, our local Police, Fire and Ambulance Crews and Religious Organizations thru this upcoming holiday and festive fall season.

The past day’s events will be felt long into the future and we can only hope as we work as community that time will heal the wounds of those who have suffered.
