No shelters yet set up to have people to evacuate to, although some people are being told they can't stay home.  Assuming it's the stockade.

Yeah, I heard McCarthy on the radio about no shelters in Schenectady

FOR SHAME on those dems.

Morris should open up his catering hall and feed those who don't have power.  He should open the whole place as a shelter for people who need it.

One of the biggest recipients of tax dollars and he doesn't do diddly squat to help the people in the city

My son checked our cellar and the walls leaking like spigots turned on. Not enough on the floor to be pumped. Of course worried but then watching TV and saw the houses with water up to their first floor windows and put my fear into perspective.

Everyone keep safe and check on elderly etc.

News is saying Mohawk (Stockade) may have the second worst flooding in history tommorrow. Open up a shelter McCarthy, Albany has a bunch opened up. Good idea about letting people use key hall.

Rt 30 in Duanesburg closed due to heavy flooding. Trees down 1000 Block Garner and 1300 Block Garner Avenue. Lines down and power cut on Grand Blvd by Nisky line. Furman St closed with tree down and cars running through emergency tape. 1500 Phoenix Avenue wires down. 1100 block Glenwood basement apartment totally flooded.

Please do not call your Fire/EMS for an inch of water in the basement. Call a neighbor or relative. Every local department is swamped with serious medical/lines down priority calls.

Call the so called mayor for water in the basement in the city.   Tell him you are charging him for the damage

Anybody have any clue why there has been no update to the town's official website as far as what is going on in town, especially if people have been evacuated from their homes, where they should be going?

Schoharie has a shelter set up @ the firehouse in west fulton.
People from Schoharie and Middleburgh have been evacuated to Schalmont Middle School.

They're saying that the Gilboa Dam will NOT be failing, but they do have record flooding.

The official word from FDG.  If you want know what's going
on in the town..."look out your window".  Don't expect any
more updates, it will cut into his naptime.
