Because the City has FAILED to bring any ideas to the table!!!! They've pawned off this task to the police force, the police force pawned it off to the animal control and now the USPS has to do something.

The Gazetto states that pushing this to the Postal Carriers is no answer. Another indication of a broke City with zero leadership. As the Gazetto says stop pretending pit bulls are not a problem. Stop looking the other way.

The fact that the city now has a pit bull issue is not the end all. What the pit bull issue does is just add to the numerous negative problems that have existed before the 'pit bull' issue that has never gotten resolved.

They have yet to get a handle on the gangs, crime, taxes, blight, infrastructure, vacant properties and the school system. Not to mention that the city  now has 2 hamilton hills....not just one to police.

The negative issues that face the city have yet to be addressed and have continued to increase as is proof with the now pit bull issue.

If they can't solve the pit bull issue how can they solve the gang, graffiti, violent crime or unsafe streets? So far the only remedy is hot potato the problem to the postal carriers. Today the Gazetto rips into the do nothing DEMS on that one. The problem is not unlicensed or uninsured dogs. It's loose dangerous dogs. You would think that someone who worked as an investigator for decades might have a clue.
