CHENECTADY-- Police have identified the body of the man found Thursday inside a vacant building on Albany Street.
An autopsy shows that Theodore Lunde, 55, died of natural causes, police said.
Lunde, whose last know address was Schenectady Street, was found by neighbors on the second floor of the defunct Andy's Ski Shoppe at the corner of Paige and Albany streets.

Nope..........just collateral damage from the failed city government/tax supported non profits. It's the government's role to keep a safe environment for it's citizens. Now I'm sure that the city government didn't want or think that anyone would die in a vacant building. But the truth is, they should have. The city is crime ridden, vacant buildings everywhere, blight everywhere, drug dealers and gangs everywhere. The city elected officials took the lead by telling it's citizens that all of these non profits, welfare handouts and a peachy looking down town was going to make life better...........well it hasn't! It has gotten worse for the residents.............just ask 'em...........if you dare!

Then compare that reality against the Gazette 'everything is coming up roses' fluff pieces, or the BS coming out of the City and County Democrats mouths that taxes are low and services are great, and everything is just peachy.

yes, schenectady is the worst place on earth, because everywhere else, things are perfect. Let's see.. Gloversville has reached its constitutional tax cap and can;t raise taxes anymore.. so that means the end of city services. Amsterdam is a sinking pit of decay.. but that's okay brecause it's decay is better than schenectady's...
colonie has a 20 million deficit,. but its deficit is better than schenctady, which is lower, but since it is schenecdtady, it suxs..
