I think there are enough city employees on the payroll to do better.
You are correct, there are more than enough tax paid city employees that these things should never happen. HOWEVER......it wouldn't surprise me if the city creates some newly formed tax paid group to over see the 'squatter' issue. An issue that has been plaguing the city for years. This is clearly nothing new.......it just happened to hit the TU for everyone to see..........again! And remember.....it's an election year!

If there were police substations in the neighborhoods and police officers walking the beat, the police and city government leaders would know about these situations before they become catastrophic.
