It is too late. With the horrible budget creating 21 jobs and giving $10K for trees, increasing fees and property taxes - it's highly unlikely that McCarthy still has a shot in this race. Even Tonko couldn't find much to praise McCarthy about (except a garbage truck and police car ride).

Hull has more than earned the position as Mayor. I'm sure the first thing he'll do is fire the part-time secretary McCarthy put on the payroll. Hull knows how to answer questions - he proved it at the debate.

Hull crushed the dime store Indian at the debate. McCarthy is a total fraud. Both Al and Hugh crushed him. This will be no different. DEM State Committee people are helping Roger Hull. They know what a tax and spend disaster Goofy is. DEMS still have to try and sell property, drive on the streets and pay McCarthy's idiotic taxes and fees. Coming next McCarthy's EMS TAX!

Hull kicked Goofy's butt to pizza hut. Funny seeing Tim Conway and the other DEM morons with the idiotic lawn signs. Put them up at another slumlord for McCarthy. Let's see if Goofy shows up for the radio debate on Talk 1300. Then he can fall on his face again -lol.

I think goose hill is where all the union threats happen.....house burning/money exchanging hands etc.......

As an independent Rotterdam resident, if I could vote I'd vote for Roger. Seems that he has put alot of thought into his ideas and is doing this for the betterment of the city as he doesn't need the money. My 2 cents....

Goose Hill is for Roger Hull just like every other City neighborhood. Slumlords and non resident employees are for McCarthy. Let's see if McCarthy actually shows up at the Talk 1300 debate tomorrow. Every time there is a debate/meeting Roger mops the floor with this taxer. If he was smart he would go golfing- lol.

If Gary McCarthy is elected, he will become mayor of SCUM-nectady!!! And will have been voted in by the brilliantly created part of society that depends solely on the government for even the next breath they take.

And if Gary McCarthy wins....it is sure proof that the majority of the city is on the government take!! Cause those are the only ones that would vote for him. If Gary McCarthy wins....the rest of you working folks better beat feet the hell outta there!! Cause it's only gonna get worse!!!

Check out the predominately Dem (and largely voting) residents of the Stockade. This year is a HUGE shift to the Hull camaign. If it can turn in the GE Plot, I'm sure there are other non-signage supporting Hull voters out there.

This is going to be one of the best races in the City in a very long time.

The final debate on Talk 1300 today. Goofy made a total a** of himself denying that he read the City budget. McCarthy didn't know nuthin about the City pension padding scandal. According to him. He never took Economics 101. Which is it Goofy? Either you knew about it and lied or you were in total dereliction of duty and never read the budget. Either way you are out. Anyone stunad enough to vote for you again deserves foreclosure and the new McCarthy EMS fee.

LOVED it when Hull outed Gary's claim about $8 million taken off the tax rolls from Union. Hull schooled him, it's $300K in taxes not $8 million and Union put $20 million of their own money invested in a neighborhood (and as Hull correctly noted, the ONLY neighborhood where home values have NOT decreased in the entire City).

Couldn't help but laugh when Hull was Union College President he explained that the college wouldn't give money to the City because he wasn't going to pad someones pension. Then Gary said that the Fire chiefs pension was an oversight (actually a line item he as Council President never questioned). What a cop out.

Hull took a great stand. He called McCarthy out on the numerous lies his campaign lit spews. By the way, McCarthy was the one acting like a whiner when he began slamming Paul Vandenburg. Again, no answer from McCarthy how much the PILOT payments are. No one knows.
