shoo scat...go away creepy troll...

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

yes, both groups are polling. they are internal polls. they do not share them with us, just with themselves. but sources say mcc is walking away with the race... but, of course, we will see on nov. 8.. go out and vote people, make a difference.

Hull destroyed McCarthy in the debate and everyone knows it. If you missed the whupping catch it on OSM-18. Listen for the huge ovation for Roger Hull at the end. Yeah, the DEMS threw up more illegal signs BFD! In the last poll 25% said they were undecided. McCarthy has been on City Council for 16 years-undecided means another Hull voter. Hull keeps rising while low tech taxing McCarthy keeps imploding.

Debate was anything but a draw: Hull won

Re Oct. 20 article, “Candidates lower the heat”: I was so disappointed by Kathleen Moore’s article on the mayoral debate. I will say, at the outset, that my husband and I are [Roger] Hull supporters, but the article was beyond upsetting.
For her to say that, “Some said the two men were evenly matched” raises the bigger question: Who didn’t? I didn’t, that’s for sure. I felt Hull took the evening, hands down. He had specifi c plans for the resolution of problems in the city, he cited past successes that Mr. [Acting Mayor Gary] McCarthy couldn’t come close to matching, and he was gentleman enough not to mention the small-minded roadblocks that have been thrown in the way of the Alliance Party by people currently in offi ce.
Mr. McCarthy has had well over a decade to show what he can do for Schenectady and I, for one, think we are in much worse shape now than we were 15 years ago, in spite of the lovely downtown (which, unfortunately, is unpeopled except for Proctors events and a couple of eateries).
Ms. Moore stated that Hull “has been criticized for not yet having fi nished [research on all of the questions asked] after nearly 11 months of campaigning.” I thought Hull’s answers were clear, specific and to the point. I believe he used his “trademark phrase” — “I don’t have all the answers’” — twice. Once in response to a question about hydrofracking and once to a question about monitoring the Gilboa Dam. I thought that showed amazing restraint; I would have said, “are you kidding?”
With the problems a mayor faces in Schenectady (police department, crumbling neighborhoods, domestic abuse, outrageous taxes and a dead housing market) is he really supposed to be researching answers to hydrofracking and the dam? Please.

Caught most of the debate yesterday, only thing that bothers me is they both brought up metroplex way too much.

Many folks who went to the debate said Moore's article was way off base. Some actually wondered if she was even there!!!

Sally Quinn is a life long DEM. Everyone knows that Roger Hull kicked a**. If it was a fight it would have been stopped in the first round. Knockout by Roger Hull who got huge ovations. Gary McCarthy came off as wooden with no solutions other than keep increasing taxes, more code violations for hand rails and small number signs. McCarthy is not used to an opponent.

Another letter to the editor in the Gazetto today from a DEM saying that Roger Hull kicked a** in the only debate. They should start a new group State DEM Committee people for Roger Hull for Mayor. McCarthy looked like a wooden cigar store Indian. The only joke he got off was pre-written. Roger Hull will lower taxes by getting revenue from other sources than the busted taxpayer. Like selling water to other communities. He also knows how to get rid of lobs like DM that have infested City Hall.

Too bad many people went to see it live because OSM could have done some great editing.

The only one that thought it was close was Kathleen Moore. First round knockout for Roger Hull. DEMS were throwing McCarthy signs in the trash and are now working for Roger Hull. No one except City employees still supports McCarthy. And most of them live in the burbs. McCarthy came off as wooden as a cigar store Indian. OSM will be instructed by the horrible DEM machine to show the debate at 3 AM. But its too late.
