truly, you are blind to the principles of economics. so to explain is a waste of time. But, just so you know, whenever you can bring 500,000 people to an area, there HAS to be some positive economic activity.

also, Proctors provides scholarships and camps to children, as well as free tickets.

it also does other charity works, but you never bothered to learn that did you?

it also is paying back the money it got from metroplex and only receives a bed tax as the only financial support from govt. Many other communities have bed taxes, not just Sch. and the money can only be used to support hospitality businesses.

the bed tax is charged on the price of hotel rooms, so the more rooms that are booked, the more tax is generated. it is not regressive like the sales tax.

And how does this equate to the the already over burdened taxpayers who are living in less than desirable situations all over the city and now expanding into the towns?  How does this equate to the fact that most all businesses downtown were moved, built and developed on the backs of the taxpayers while these businesses pay little or no tax at all? Do you honestly believe that these taxpayers can continue to shoulder the imbalance of the tax burden? now galesi pays a PILOT with a far greater tax amount... perhaps three times the amount, if i am not mistaken.

Oh, so when OFFICIAL GOVERNMENT RECORDS  show (thus PROVING) that a property has a 100% exemption from property and school taxes, then you are saying they ARE paying partial taxes??????

And PLEASE explain to us, since the OFFICIAL RECORDS show that Bombers has a 150% exemption, yes one-hundred fifty percent, then does that mean  they only have a partial exemption?   Obviously YOU are a high school dropout and miserably failed math if you think getting a 100% property and school tax exeption means they pay partial taxes, and if you think that 150% means someone pays.....hell, getting 150% tax exemption means the taxpayers are probably covering Bombers' costs for private trash collectin among other things.
