THE SQUEAKY WHEELS, aka the "nayboobs" have a big win!!!!!!!! We have gotten the EVIDENCE beyond this forum!
AND Paul is talking about it on his show too!!!! CHEERS FOR PAUL for echoing the FACT that Morris and the city and the dem puppet paper the Gazette, have been hush hush on this.
The "nayboobs" as we have been defined by the big cheerleader for the dem party, that "Democratic" Voice of (lack of) Reason as he calls himself, must be very embarrassed. Gee, how many times he claims he talks to McC, wonder why he didn't tell McC way back when! Oh, that's write, a star is that light in the sky at night
That dem puppet, the Rott town planning committee member must be hiding in shame now! The guy that claims he states FACTS, but he NEVER NEVER produces any EVIDENCE (still waiting for him to state HOW he claims the county taxes are lower now that in 50 years, still waiting for the link to the FBI site claiming crime in Schenectady is going down, etc)
Be sure to avoid comment, it's easier than to admit the dems are corrupt.

City of Schenectady Assessor Tina Dimitriadis said Morris' wife would have had to provide her driver's license back in August 2011 for the address change to stick. She said typically her staff follows up with people who haven't provided the right documentation. But among thousands of cases, Dimitriadis said, one can get lost.
this is an outright lie. When anyone goes in to apply for star or senior star you MUST provide all info when you are there, they DO NOT take partial information and have you come back. If Morris had been there they would have told him they needed his wifes license right then and there.
There have been people in their 80's there who were upset because they didn't have their spouses info with them and were turned away only to have to come back with everything in order for the assessor to take the application.
Also IF they were there they were NOT applying for STAR they would have been removing it.
How many in the County of Schenectady will say Poor Mr. Morris and believe this crap, thank goodness there are those who know the truth.
How many seniors on fixed incomes were not able to get their Senior star because they didn't get all info there on time and go without food and medications. but the CEO of Proctors who is paid with tax dollars from these same seniors gets away with fraud.
The state better pick this up and treat him just like they would treat anyone, yeah like that will happen.

At most, Morris probably saved $800 to $1,000 from the double exemption, according to Macejka, who said he did his own research in 2011 to be sure that Morris' primary residence was in Rotterdam and the Schalmont school district.
Morris was saving $640 each year in Sch'dy School taxes. Thats $1,280 or more just from Sch'dy. Now add in the illegal Rotterdam STAR. And if Macejka did his own research, he would have SEEN as we do that there was and still is a STAR on the Sch'dy home.

Agreed! the TU and Vandenburg did an outstanding job of reporting the 'facts'. perhaps now they will look into ALL of the folks who are doing the same exact thing. it would be in the best interest for all of the schenectady county assessors to start doing their research.....otherwise there are folks here that apparently will!!
Good job!!!

The money for the fine that we all know he will not have to pay and the money he never paid should be shared among the senior citizens centers in the county.
