He is politically connecterd, he got TENS OF MILLIONS of taxpayer money He collects rents His theater business brings lavish for-profit Broadway shows He does NOT charitable to the poor children in the city see shows like DISNEY's Lion King He does NOT feed the poor children in the city for the summer lunches. He makes the city homeowners pay the taxes on Proctor's buiding He takes in allegedly $5 MILLION from just ONE, just ONE show, not to mention the multi milllions total he collects yet he makes the financially struggling homeowners pay taxes on the for-profit business
The tens of milllions in taxpayer money (from all levels of govt) has NOT resulted in city homeonwers experiencing increased property values, Proctors has NOT resulted in the lowering of taxes for the financially struggling homeonwers in the city, the theater has NOT resulted in people moving to the city, has NOT resulted in increased and/or improved vital city services.
And then, on top of all that, Morris can't handle the crime, the filth, the poor city services and gets the heck out of the city.
