Horrible school systems, unsafe neighborhoods and a crumbling infastructure, yet NY State give tax break upon tax break (as well as the Plex handing millions over to Proctors) for the ARTS! Why are millions of our taxpayer dollars supporting the Arts????

Since when did the Arts become a government funded institution?
