I do wish the new recruits well --- and ALL of the men and women who serve in law enforcement.  I am grateful for their service.    When they make mistakes, I expect them to fix them and learn from them .. and move on.

WTF? Law enforcement made no mistake-your DEM party did. The DEM working together idiots ruining County Civil Service. The DEM working together crew has removed all competent employees and replaced them with incompetent DEM hacks. Now there is an "investigation" as to how this stunad mistake could have happened-lol.

This candidate is a decorated military veteran who scored high on his exam. He was extremely qualified and should have been given special dispensation based on his exemplary military service in a combat zone. DEMS have no respect for veterans and no respect for law enforcement. I doubt if even one civil service employee has any military service. They couldn't make it past basic training. Another example of unqualified DEM working together lobs that have infested every City/town/County department and commission.

It is code for "The police should arrest the opposition and be used as a political tool to keep power."

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

For the record,  the three member county civil service commission can not have more than 2 members of the same political party.  So - trying to blame the decisions of the commission on any one party is -- well blatantly stupid.

In general, the county civil service commission does a great job -- and it is easy for the Nattering Nayboobs to attack and "monday morning quarterback" .. because the Nattering Nayboobs have nothing better to do with their lives.

Oh, but they can have copservatives and independence party members in league with the democraps so why don't you tell us who is on that commission!

It's not the commission-it's the Civil Service office. It's so pathetic that the DEMS have started an "investigation" into this fiasco. If he wasn't qualified he should not have been allowed to take the exam. More working together works to cover up obvious incompetence.

Everyone is laughing at the stunad DEM lobs that don't realize either a diploma mill or that getting a degree in one year is fishy. Can't wait to see who is fired or forced to resign in the wake of the big investigation-lol. It's not law enforcement-it's not the commission-its the Civil Service office that has been destroyed by DEM lobs. Stop throwing up red herrings. Someone must be held responsible for this f*** up.

I know who is on the commission --- you can look it up yourself.

Exactly. Another fake attempt by DVR/SB to deflect blame. The entire office is staffed by DEM hacks. Every CONS/IND/REP/Blank has been purged during SS Savage's night of the long knives. Here's another interesting tid bit. When a college degree is required, a college transcript must accompany the application. These morons had a transcript and still let him take the exam.

In either case, this kid became the fall guy for the mismanagement of those who were suppose to over see this process. It just makes one wonder what other 'oversights' are there trolling around the city government.

Hopefully when they have the changing of the guards after november, everything will be exposed!!

So true! Special dispensation is given out to all DEM hacks. But a military vet they throw under the rug.

Maybe the kid needs to sue. I don't like to advocate for suing, but somehow something has to wake up city government to the fact that they have to take responsibility for the jobs we pay them to do. The trouble is, we taxpayers end up paying in any case.

One thing I'm not clear on - would this guy have reason to think his diploma was not good enough, or was he another victim of one of the educational scams that have been in the news a lot recently? I believe there's been a crackdown lately on some of these schools.

I was thinking the same thing. But he should sue County civil service. The City was not at fault. Some useless DEM County lob okayed his application and allowed him to take the exam. The vet passed the exam and was sworn in-then they pull the rug on him. The DEM civil service idiot is now in hiding while the vets name is muddied up. This is not going away. Veterans group are hot-city taxpayers are hot. The usual working together DEM coverup of an investigation is not enough.
