All paved roads lead to City Hall!

The NNTP/Alliance folks complain if the roads aren't paved .. then they complain when they are paved.  They are neither reasonable nor rational.

No the taxpayers complain when a temporary fix is provided by the Mayor as he scurried to find $40K for the project. This will have to be redone on the taxpayers dime in another 6+ years down the line...oh, and sidewalks aren't being installed. Sorry middle school and high school students walking home.  

MEANWHILE, his $3 million dollar golf idea was presented, he hired himself another secretary, no jobs were cut from the budget AND there's a tax and fee increase.

Again - this only happens at election time.

Privatize the nursing home. Abolish the sanitation dept and let the residents get their own like the towns do. Privatize the golf course. Place all businesses back on the tax rolls at 100% just like the residents. Cut 10% from each department.

I'm sure that will well allow for repaving of the streets....yes?

You are hitting the nail on the head.

unfortunately the sanitation dept cant be gotten rid of.....the city is full of city gypsies that keep changing addresses to keep their cable/DSS/heap etc when they think someone is getting wind of their 'other incomes'......they just leave
crap at the curb and beat feet.....they go back down state then back here then back down state then back here.......and they DONT care about the crap they leave behind....they're not gonna pay anyone to move it and they dont drive
