I never said that the property was in Schenectady County -- where it is .. is none of your business.
Now crawl back into your padded cell.
Well once again DMOR you play your games. I didn't ask where it was and don't give a rat's a$$ where you fabricate you own property. I stated, and I quote: "Interesting...you are such a staunch advocate of Schdy but your name doesn't pop up on any tax rolls in Schdy county as a property owner! Or maybe you are using an alias there too?" Now to try and explain to your feeble mind, that means I am saying that you talk a good game, but you are all smoke and mirrors....get it? If these areas and these towns and this county and this city are so great like you constantly state, and are on the verge of newly discovered growth, etc., then why not invest in them instead of where you suppossedly have bought this fantasy property? Maybe I'm talking to fast for you!!!!!!
PS - Quite frankly, the farther away from Schdy you move, the better off we all will be.....don't let the door hit you in the a$$!!!!!
JUST BECAUSE SISSY SAYS SO DOESN'T MAKE IT SO...BUT HE THINKS IT DOES!!!!! JUST BECAUSE MC1 SAYS SO DOESN'T MAKE IT SO!!!!!
Just like most of the cheerleaders for Schenectady - they don't live or pay taxes in the City - they just go to their little homes in other 'safer' communities.
Not paying what we pay, not seeing what we see on a daily basis.
If you were true to your words, you would live in the City, the place of this "Renaissance". But you don't so you're a hypocrite, and your word has as much value as used toilet paper.
Unfortunately rachel you are correct. The same city that housed doctors and lawyers and engineers who also worked in the city, has been replaced with the highest taxes in the state, drug dealers, slum lords, blight, gangs, shooters and now dead bodies. First the jobs left, then the professionals left, then the elected officials and city/county workers left.........now the tax paying residents are leaving.
But hell.........there's always Lion King!!

What does since over 90 years mean . I think It means you dont own anything in this area . You pay taxes on nothing in this area . Why dont you go get involved in the communities where you have your own money on the line?
I am INVOLVED in the communities where I have "my own money on the line" .... here in Rotterdam in Schenectady County and in other places.

In other words he has a trust fund so keeping a job isn't a big deal to him.
"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."
It would be nice if they included a marina in the project.

seriously, u may want to reserve your condo, cause I truly believe they will increase in value as the area is redeveloped. good opt to get in on the ground floor.
when the first condo is sold, we can have Benny "The Forger" Salami and Graham "Totally Looney" Bonnet and the other muppets cut the ribbon.
Hmmm, downtown has been getting redeveloped. Tell us SB aka DVFOL, what has happened to the property values in the city??????> Huh?????? Well. tell us what has happened to the property values in the city. Oh, and just for your info, you don't have to go with the stuff about property values going down all over, because I then I will ask you to answer what happened to proeprty values and taxes BEFORE late 2008
Optimists close their eyes and pretend problems are non existent. Better to have open eyes, see the truths, acknowledge the negatives, and speak up for the people rather than the politicos and their rich cronies.
I paid cash for the properties that I do own -- and I think that a riverfront condo in Schenectady would be a nice base for short visits -- I already have another property in which to enjoy the rest of my retirement.
Of course you DO know that since you have NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER provided one shred of proof of ANY statements you have made on these boards, that you have ABSOLUTELY NO CREDIBILITY WHATSOEVER.
So, your statement that you own property and paid cash is 1000% a lie.
Retirement??????? ROFLMAO. One does not retire when one does not work.

A nice riverside marina with some shops and restaurants would be a great addition to this project. Preferably a seafood restaurant --- maybe LeGrande Serras could be encouraged to open a branch of his Reel Seafood Company along the riverside in Schenectady.

With the taxpayers' money of course, right DV.
And as long as the homeonwers IN THE NEIGHBORHOODS pay the property taxes of some millioniare dem political crony developers and business owners, right?
Just like the financially struggling homeonwers are paying the property and school taxes for the multimillioniare (or is it billionaire) Hiltons? LIke the financially struggling homeowners are paying the property and school taxes for the Forbes MUTLIBILLIONIARE for his hair salon?

From the time that I have ben on this site, think you've nailed it. Also, I understand his reasoning. Why should they pay land taxes to the city / county when all the others can just carry it on our backs, and also, if he were to come here, it would bring in so many more people, and the amount of sales tax they would be paying would greatly outweight any amount of land taxes that wuld be collected, just look at places like Bombers.
It will never happen. Taxpayer $$$ to clean it up now it will be shovel ready for a Galesi project. Lets be real.

nah, u got it wrong, once again. Galesi will use private investment. Will probably get some tax breaks, but that property will pay more under Galesi than it ever did under your GOP friends, dude.. Tell the truth, Farley was a member of SEDC board, which controlled property. Burhmaster, huge GOPPER, was president of Nott Street corpr. that owned land and paid practically nithing in taxes, in fact, the corp welshed.. did not hear a peep out of you.. because burhmaster waqs too busy stuffing campaign dollars into your chest... POS

The metroplex was designed and created with the promise of lowering 'property taxes' for the residents. They have clearly failed since the county is now the highest taxed county in the state and one of the highest in the country!!
this is just another example of how government programs FAIL!!
