Shadow.
You do understand that everything that you read on line is not true... Right?
That if you go to reliable sites, you will get mostly reliable data... and when you quote Right or Left Wing blogs, you will get mostly opinion.  You know that right?

You keep posting Right Wing propaganda as if it were fact.  No doubt there is SOME fact mixed in with the opinion, but how do you tell the difference?

Here is background on the study you posted:
Minnesota Majority (About Us)
" Polls have repeatedly shown that most Minnesotans embrace traditional values like limited government, lower taxes, parental rights, free markets, protecting our borders and a strong national defense. These are not Republican or Democratic values, they are American values."
Do ya think this statement might  be just a little tilted to the Right Shadow???

You really are dense Box just because something doesn't agree with your warped liberal view it must be from a right wing state, paper, person, or whatever you have to do to try to discredit the article. If in fact 2800 dead people voted in Minn and Franken won by 312 votes then it could have made a huge difference in a Senator being elected to Congress and it may have even made a huge difference in the health-care vote. Minnesota was won by Democratic nominee Barack Obama by a 10.2% margin of victory. Prior to the election, all 17 news organizations considered this a state Obama would win, or otherwise considered as a safe blue state. A blue state, Democrats have the edge in presidential elections. Barack Obama carried the state with 54.06% of the vote in 2008 over John McCain's 43.82%. Minnesota has not voted Republican since Richard Nixon in 1972. Care to change your statement on the right leaning Minn.

Photo Id cards should be mandatory to vote, it will cut down on fraud. To say that not that many people do it, isn't a good argument for not following common sense. At the same time I think we need to acknowledge that we as a society have done a poor job of teaching civics to our younger generations. Therefore I recomend that we mandate all states to give out photo id's valid for at least 5 years to all 16 year olds. I also think we should force our schools to bus our 16 year olds to city/town hall to get their id's on a civics field trip. This alone would cut down on the number of young people without photo id's. It would also get some of our lower income individuals more comfortable with the idea of going to city hall. I also think that we should require anyone that wants to get a GED to get a photo ID first, thus shrinking another pool of people without ID's. I think the moral and educational benefits of this program out weigh the costs of this program.

Shadow.
YOUR POST... Post #29 quoted "“traditional values” advocacy group Minnesota Majority.
This is what that site that YOU QUOTED said about ITSELF"

" Polls have repeatedly shown that most Minnesotans embrace traditional values like limited government, lower taxes, parental rights, free markets, protecting our borders and a strong national defense. These are not Republican or Democratic values, they are American values."

You posted data from a very Right Wing site, (Minnesota Majority)
They have an agenda... a right wing agenda and don't hide that fact.

The reason that all the facts come from right wing sources are because the left leaning NBC, ABC, MSNBC, NPR, and CBS won't print the facts because it makes the Dems look bad.

TROY — After being brought in to a Rensselaer County courtroom in handcuffs, Councilman Michael LoPorto and Democratic Elections Commissioner Edward McDonough pleaded not guilty Friday morning to a combined 116 felony counts alleging they falsified dozens of absentee votes.

The men were released on their own recognizance after being arraigned on an indictment that charges McDonough, 47, with 74 total counts of second-degree forgery and second-degree possession of a forged instrument and LoPorto, 58, with 42 counts consisting of the same two charges.

The men, who had been the targets of a grand jury investigation that began in early December, turned themselves in at the Brunswick State Police barracks before they were brought before Acting Supreme Court Justice George J. Pulver Jr., of Greene County, to answer to the charges.

As they entered the courtroom with four state troopers by their sides, LoPorto managed a smile and McDonough, appearing tired, gave no expression.

The charges against them surround some 50 voters who were allegedly deprived of their vote in the Sept. 15, 2009 Working Families Party primary election in Troy. Many were residents of the city’s housing projects.

At a press conference later Friday, special prosecutor Trey Smith said many of the alleged victims are the county’s “less fortunate.” Many do not speak English well and one is deaf and can communicate only in sign language, he said.

“Those who believed that the victims would never complain about the misappropriation of their voting rights were wrong,” Smith said. “The victims spoke, and now the grand jury has spoken with their indictment.”

At least 16 of those voters testified before the grand jury, which was terminated Friday by Pulver. Smith would not say whether future proceedings would target other suspects in the case, which saw DNA samples taken from seven other city Democrats besides LoPorto and McDonough.

McDonough, whose father went to federal prison in 1994 on charges of abusing his position as county Democratic Party chairman, slipped out of the courthouse unnoticed after the arraignment with his attorney, Brian Premo. LoPorto simply shrugged when asked if he had any comment. Continued...

It sure fits your agenda doesn't it Shadow... but is it true???

Left leaning NBC, ABC, MSNBC, NPR, and CBS all ran the entire story about Bill Clinton & Monica...
Left leaning NBC, ABC, MSNBC, NPR, and CBS all ran the story about Trump and Obama's birth certificate.
Left leaning NBC, ABC, MSNBC, NPR, and CBS all ran the story about Obama not closing Gitmo.
Left leaning NBC, ABC, MSNBC, NPR, and CBS all ran the story about increased American troop casualties in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Left leaning NBC, ABC, MSNBC, NPR, and CBS all ran the story that Obama didn't put all legislation on the Internet for five days before it comes to a vote.
Left leaning NBC, ABC, MSNBC, NPR, and CBS all ran the story that unemployment was almost at 10%.
Left leaning NBC, ABC, MSNBC, NPR, and CBS all ran the story that Obama failed to pass a government option in HCR.
And about a million other stories.  '
Just because Fox will not show an unfavorable story, or just because Fox will inflate crowds at Conservative gatherings to make them look more well attended...
Just because Fox Lies... you assume that Left leaning NBC, ABC, MSNBC, NPR, and CBS do the same.

There is news, and there is propaganda.  There are facts and there are lies.  There is data, and there is spin.
If you look you can find real news... real facts... real data.  And you can find opinion and spin.
It appears you believe the Spin from the right but distrust everything else that doesn't agree with your agenda.

The news is out there if you want it... but it's a lot easier to just turn on Fox, and they'll tell you what to think.

Got a link???
Was this story on Fox???
Is it just rumor???

and

MSNBC is left leaning... no one hides that.
You seem to believe any story that you hear that agrees with your point of view, but disregard the validity of any that doesn't.

If CNN posts a story that is unfavorable to Obama I tend to believe it, because CNN is as reliable as most.

This is from "The Hill" NPR’s top fundraiser, Ron Schiller, was caught on tape recently saying explicitly that “in the long run…[NPR is] better off without federal funding.”

In fact, Rep. Israel might have added spice to his fundraising appeal directed at liberal Democrats by quoting Schiller’s praise of liberal Democrats. “In my personal opinion,” Schiller says on the tape, “liberals today might be more educated, fair and balanced than conservatives.”

Betsy Liley, the director of institutional giving at NPR, is also heard on the tape saying that liberal billionaire George Soros has made it his business to subsidize NPR with as little fanfare as possible — that is to say to do it secretly.

Liley’s revealing comment and Schiller’s arrogance are instructive because they provide a window in to the culture of elitism that has corroded NPR’s leadership. They're willing to do anything in service of any liberal with money. This includes firing me and skewing the editorial content of their programming. If anyone challenges them on this point, they will claim with self-righteous indignation to have cleaner hands than the rest of the news media who accepts advertising revenue or expresses a point of view.

I'm not just talking about conservatives but also the far left, the poor — anybody who didn't fit into leadership's marketing design of NPR as the elitist voice of comfortable, liberal-leaning, highly educated, upper-income America.

As for Rep. Steve King (R-Iowa), it was not until he saw the secretly recorded videotape of NPR executives that he understood the extent of political bias at NPR. “Of all the data that we’ve seen, we still had not absorbed the culture of NPR until we saw the video of that dinner.” House Majority Leader Eric Cantor added: “Why should we allow taxpayer dollars to be used to advocate one ideology?”   http://thehill.com/opinion/columnists/juan-williams/150925-williams-now-i-want-them-to-defund-npr

So we know that:
Ron Schiller, thinks that “in the long run…[NPR is] better off without federal funding.”
And???  He is entitled to his opinion... but if he has said the opposite, then what?

And we learn that Schiller's opinion is:
That “liberals today might be more educated, fair and balanced than conservatives.”
And his opinion means???  That he thinks liberals are more educated fair and balanced???

Then we learn that:
George Soros donates anonymously to NPR... And???
Is that a good thing or a bad thing???

OK, now to the subject of the link.
Who wrote this piece??? Juan Williams... the commentator who was fired by NPR.  LMAO!
Where does Juan work now??? Um... Let me guess...
Fox News Gave Juan Williams a $2,000,000.00 contract!

Obama’s WH Chief of Staff Holds Daily, Secret Calls With Pals in Media

Posted by Warner Todd Huston (Profile)

Thursday, January 29th at 9:33AM

Politico reports that White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel holds daily chit chat sessions with several Old Media pals every morning to start his day. Apparently Emanuel has for years been involved with daily bull sessions to plan media coverage and ideological strategy with CNN’s James Carville and Paul Begala, as well as ABC’s George Stephanopoulos, with the occasional participation of pollster Stan Greenberg. But there is one little problem with this daily palling around with mediots these days: Emanuel now works for the White House.

As Politico’s John Harris notes, “in any given news cycle, it is quite likely that Washington’s prevailing political and media interpretation — at least on the Democratic side — is being hatched on these calls.” In light of this early morning scheming, one has to wonder where the supposed autonomy of the media is if they are being programed by the Obama White House in off the record, secret and daily conversations? Where is their objectivity if these media mavens are all assisting Emanuel mould and shape the news to further a specific ideological goal?

Juan Williams is no more right wing than Alan Combs is and he's on Fox News all the time. Someday you may be sorry that you backed the progressive movement because if they get their way there won't be a happy ending.
