County officials unveil veterans discount card program for area businesses
Schenectady County businesses, even in a tough economy, are stepping up to offer local veterans a discount on goods and services.
Schenectady County officials and The Chamber of Schenectady County unveiled the county’s “Return the F.A.V.O.R.” discount program to benefit veterans on Tuesday, June 14. Any honorably discharged veteran residing in the county is eligible for the program, which provides veterans with a discount at participating local businesses. The Schenectady County Clerk’s Office will start issuing cards on July 1.
