from that article,

"When you cut through all the talking points about what financial regulation will do, the real long-term result will be job loss -- that's the real story here," said Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky on Wednesday. "This bill is no victory. Small-business owners aren't celebrating. The folks who lost those jobs aren't celebrating. It is this kind of uncertainty that will freeze credit."

Looks like the Republicans were RIGHT.

Stop pulling other peoples talking points, and reply to the question - why hasn't Obama proposed new tax code?

Well, looks like Box-Full-O-Crap couldn't answer the question above (obviously why he changed the subject then refused to answer further) - so I've got another comment he made that'll come back to bite him in the arse.

Partial list of Democratic convention speakers released
Posted by
CNN Chief White House Correspondent Jessica Yellin

(CNN) - An hour after Mitt Romney stepped off of his party's convention stage, crowned as the Republican presidential nominee, organizers of the Democratic convention announced several speakers who will appear onstage in Charlotte, North Carolina next week.

The partial lineup released Friday highlights Democratic women, Latinos, African-Americans, and congressional leaders.

Follow the Ticker on Twitter: @PoliticalTicker, catch the latest updates from the GOP convention on CNN's 2012 Conventions Live Blog, and check out the CNN Electoral Map and Calculator to game out your own strategy for November.

The convention speaker list includes Sen. John Kerry of Massachusetts; Maryland Gov. Martin O'Malley; Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel, the former White House Chief of Staff; and former Virginia Gov. Tim Kaine, who is running for a U.S. Senate seat.

Earlier this week, convention organizers announced that Newark Mayor Cory Booker and Rep. Barbara Lee of California would participate in revealing the party's platform.

Among the speakers announced Friday are House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, the convention announced.

Congressional Hispanic Caucus Chair Charlie Gonzalez, Congressional Black Caucus Chairman Emanuel Cleaver, Rep. John Lewis of Georgia, and Judy Chu, who is among the Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus, will also speak, the convention announced.

Pelosi will speak for House Democrats and lead a presentation of House Democratic women, the convention announced.

Among those in the presentation are Rep. Rosa DeLauro of Connecticut, Rep. Carolyn Maloney of New York, Rep. Nydia Velasquez of New York, Rep. Gwen Moore of Wisconsin, Rep. Allyson Schwartz of Pennsylvania, Rep. Donna Edwards of Maryland.

Dems Giving Away Tickets to Obama's Speech

You need to be at Manuel's Tavern by noon Friday.
Dunwoody Democrats have a chance to see President Barack Obama's acceptance speech in person at next week's Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, NC.

The DeKalb Democratic Party sent out this message Thursday night.

DO YOU WANT TO GO TO CHARLOTTE AND BE THERE IN PERSON FOR THE PRESIDENTS"S ACCEPTANCE SPEECH?

In Atlanta: Manuel's Tavern, 602 N Highland Avenue NE, Atlanta, GA 30307

In Macon: Bibb County Democratic Party, 835 Forsyth St. Suite A, Macon GA 31201

    Here's the rules:

Everyone who is at Manuel's Tavern or the Bibb County Democratic Party by noon is eligible for two tickets. Arrive early if you want, but it won't give you a better chance to win. Just be there by 12 noon!

If less than 50 people arrive, everyone will get a pair! If more than 50 folks arrive, we will do a random drawing to determine our winners.

There is no cost involved. We're not selling the tickets, we're giving them away.

Since we're not selling tickets, you can't sell them either! If you sell your tickets to someone else, they will be deactivated.

For planning purposes, we expect that President Obama will speak at 8pm on Thursday. To insure that you are in your seat for the speech, you should arrive at the stadium that afternoon. There will be strict security at the event.

President Obama is destroying America
My ‘Top 10 List’ of how the Obama is destroying America by over spending and under performing:

Debt, debt, and more debt. Unprecedented budget deficits into the foreseeable future.
European socialist-style spending. Spending like crazy across the board.
Spend, spend, spend. Billion for high-speed rail. Why? What is the ROI for the taxpayer.
Freezing past spending in place. Having presided over  vastly increased discretionary spending, he now wants to freeze those increases in place. This on top of the staggering discretionary spending increases of George Dubya.
Expanding government. He is expanding our federal government at an unprecedented pace.
More and higher taxes. Obama proposes $1.6 trillion in new taxes on families and businesses during the coming decade.
No entitlements will be reformed. Really? This despite the fact Social Security and Medicare are forecast to permanently be in the red.
Fake defense budget cuts. Some tiny Pentagon budget cuts actually amount to a small defense spending increases.
Rosy assumptions. ‘Nuff said.   Obama anticipates overly high economic growth and jobless rate.
Obamacare will need more money. Includes money to implement an alphabet soup of healthcare related changes and increases.

A tax cheat used to be considered a low life... but in the republican party...he's a hero!

Just consider...
A tax break for one group (off shore accounts) with out a like spending cut,
is a TAX INCREASE for EVERYONE NOT IN THAT GROUP.

Mitt's tax evasion... is a tax increase for you and I.

he could even it out by mailing each and everyone of us a $2.00 walmart card....as a matter of fact the metroplex
dudes could do the same for the county.....

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

'Pray for Obama' sign stirs controversy over Biblical verse
by James Muñoz / KENS 5
Posted on August 30, 2012 at 5:30 PM
Updated Thursday, Aug 30 at 6:21 PM

VICTORIA, Tx. -- The Secret Service is looking into a sign posted in Victoria, Texas.

The sign says "Pray for Obama", but it's the scripture quoted below those words that is raising eyebrows: Psalms 109:8.
Psalms 109:8 reads, "Let his days be few, and let another take his office."
Milton Neitsch  Jr., who has lived in Victoria since 1961,  says he didn't intend for people to pick up on the hateful wishes of death and pain surrounding the tiny verse.

But some people say it is hateful and inappropriate. They say it misuses the holy scripture and it must come down.

Neitsch  recently received an email from a friend and decided to post it on his advertising billboard along North Navarro Street. He had no idea the firestorm of controversy it would create.
"Pray for the president. He needs it," said Neitsch.
When asked what the sign means, Neitsch responded, "Exactly what it says. Hope he's gone soon and somebody different takes his place.".........................................>>>>.............................>>>>..................http://www.kens5.com/news/Secret-Service-looks-into-So-Texas-Pray-for-Obama-sign--168045356.html

Tampa, Florida — As Republicans gathered for the final day of their national convention here in Tampa,
a small but vocal group of doctors, medical students and patients marched in the heat to deliver
thousands of petitions in support of the Affordable Care Act.
One of the marchers, Kenya Wheeler, was a grad student last year when he was diagnosed with CNS
lymphoma, a form of blood cancer in his brain. Despite being covered through his university’s insurance
plan, Wheeler quickly hit the lifetime cap on his coverage. On Thursday, he marched as a
representative for thousands of other patients who stand to benefit when the lifetime cap provision
of Obamacare goes into effect in 2014.
Another marcher, Dr. Donald Nguyen, is a pediatric urologist in Dayton, Ohio. For much of the march,
he helped carry a banner reading “Patients Over Politics”, a mantra shouted out by the participants
and plastered on signs, stickers, brochures and disposable paper fans handed out to combat the withering heat.
“I am sincerely sick and tired of the political fighting over patients’ health,” he said. “The Affordable
Care Act passed in Congress. It was upheld by the Supreme Court. Now it’s time to focus on making
sure patients receive proper care.”
