SCHENECTADY -- Two people were taken to Albany Medical Center Hospital after their car rolled over Sunday evening on Erie Boulevard, police said.
Sgt. Matthew Dearing said the collision occurred around 6:10 p.m. after one car pulled out of a gas station into the thoroughfare and was struck by another vehicle that, after impact, rolled over.
A mother and her son were taken by ambulance to Albany Med, Dearing said; the child suffered a head injury, but was determined to have suffered only a mild concussion.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation, Dearing said, but it appears drivers of both vehicles will be cited.
