The modern conservative is engaged in one of man's oldest exercises in moral
philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.

He's running against congress now.lol. At least it isn't George W Bush.

Democrats controlled the federal government for the first 2 years of the Obama presidency and this is the result.

FYI...The Tea Party congress wasn't seated until January 2011.  So your graphic is inaccurate box.

I don't like it because it is misleading.  It wasn't until 2011 the 112th congress was seated  that was after the public soundly rejected 2 years of Obama/Pelosi policy.

Tea party schme party....it shows there has been a consitant attempt to derail all attempts at improvements WITHOUT alternative propositions that are achievable....so who cares if it was 2011, 2010 or whatver...I don't care which party it is....we have a 2 party system for checks and balances that are to represent the American people, not just refuse to participate. It's become too easy and too prevelant for parties to sit across the aisle from each other and use that as a demaricatiion line....if something is good on one side, then it has to be bad on the other side. No compromises, no consideratin for the American publs or our future. POLITICS SUCK !!!!!!!

In this statement you've already taken a position that the alternatives offered by Republicans are "unachievable".  Hmmmm...That sounds as a pretty presumptuous and inflexible, and uncompromising.  You've also taken the stance that MORE federal government intervention is the only solution, and that any solution offered that stops the government from getting involved and centrally planning the economy will not correct the economic problems.

But to reiterate - Obama was inaugurated in January of 2009, and the 112th congress was seated in January of 2011.  The propagandists want to paint a picture that makes it look like Obama didn't have enough time to get his policies passed by using 2010.  Obama had 2 years and passed a $700+ Billion stimulus and Obamacare - two ENORMOUS pieces of legislation that have done nothing to fix the problem.  Maybe enormous spending bills aren't the solution.

No shadow... it was correct as posted.  Just think of all the progress (including jobs) if this president had
a congress interested in more than vacating the white house.

Just think if we had a President who really cared about the country and putting Americans back to work instead of wasting almost a trillion dollars on shovel ready jobs that weren't there, so he gave the money to his political donors companies.

Put up all the graphs you want, Box. You have no definite proof the stimulus worked. I'm NOT talking about TARP, I'm talking about the 800 billion in stimulus funds.

Facts have never gotten in the way of a Conservative with an opinion before... I doubt they ever will.

Romney gets it wrong...
Obama gets it right...

A new Pew Research survey finds that just 26% of those who have followed news on the attacks on
U.S. embassies in the Middle East approve of Mitt Romney's comments on the situation, while 48% disapprove.

In contrast, 45% approve of President Obama's handling of the recent turmoil, while 36% disapprove.

As I thought...no proof...or accountability to where the money was spent.
The only thing that can be proved is the debt that it accrued.
