And just one year ago, the Libyans loved the US.

Libyans Applaud President Obama And International Allies With Large Thank You Sign!

At the main square in Benghazi, people have been gathering to celebrate the end of the rule of Muammar Qaddafi. One large sign in the middle of the square in Benghazi features a picture of the “Fantastic 4” (from right to left): US President Barack Obama, French President Nicolas Sarkozy, British Prime Minister David Cameron, and U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Susan Rice.
The text on the sign reads: “God Bless You All. Thanks For All.”

Then the youtube video was discovered and suddenly Libya was full of hate.

CICERO....don't you get dizzy with all your SPINNING????

L4L....could you kindly explain it to the resident DODGE and WEAVE SPIN DOCOTOR....cuz he obviously don't get it.....
But the embassy's statement had been an effort to head off the violence—not released after the assaults on American diplomatic missions, as Romney's statement suggested.

I didn't know this was the remedial thread.  Romney was commenting on the "stand by" our original comdemnation tweet AFTER the embassy breached.  THE EMBASSY REITERATED THE PRE-BREACH CONDEMNATION AFTER THE EMBASSY WAS BREACHED.  Then they removed that tweet, then an Obama official disavowed the tweet.  What is so hard to understand?

Quoted Text
“The embassy in Cairo put out a statement after their grounds had been breached,” Romney told reporters on Wednesday. “Protesters were inside the grounds. They reiterated that statement after the breach. I think it’s a terrible course for America to stand in apology for our values.”

Romney’s reference to the idea that the statement was “reiterated” appears to be a reference to a tweet--since deleted--that said: “This morning’s condemnation (issued before the protest began) still stands. As does our condemnation of unjustified breach of the Embassy.”

Tuesday, about 6:30 p.m.(After Cairo Embassy Breach)
In Twitter Message, U.S. Embassy Stands by Statement

The American embassy in Cairo sends a message on Twitter that it "still stands" by their initial statement. The message was later deleted.  This morning's condemnation (issued before protest began) still stands. As does our condemnation of unjustified breach of the Embassy

#2) I agree 100% with Governor Romney that the United States should NEVER apologize for our Constitutional rights of Free Speech nor should we apologize when US soil has been invaded/attacked --- and to make sure that everyone understands -- US Embassy buildings and grounds are considered US soil under International Law (just as foreign embassies in our country our considered the soil of the nation it represents).

Contrary to popular belief, diplomatic missions do not enjoy full extraterritorial status and are not
sovereign territory of the represented state.
Rather, the premises of diplomatic missions
remain under the jurisdiction of the host state while being afforded special privileges
(such as
immunity from most local laws) by the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations. Diplomats
themselves still retain full diplomatic immunity, and (as an adherent to the Vienna Convention)
the host country may not enter the premises of the mission without permission of the represented
country.

There is a common misconception that Embassies and Consulates have extraterritoriality. As
anecdotal evidence of this misconception, people will often say things like, “the US Embassy
sits upon United States soil.”
For the most part, this is not the case as extraterritoriality is not
conferred upon an Embassy or Consulate, but in some situations extraterritoriality may be
created by Treaty'.

"Mitt Romney began the 2012 anniversary of Sept. 11 by calling for a suspension of politics.
'There is a time and a place for that, but this day is not it,' he said at a morning National Guard gathering
in Reno, Nev. Just hours later, Romney could no longer resist... He saw an opportunity to tie his claim
that Barack Obama apologizes for American greatness to the news cycle..."

"In the final weeks of a campaign of this scale, there are very few moments that really count. But when
they matter, they can reshape the race. A day that began with Romney calling for national unity before
politics in the face of terrorism ended with just the opposite. Voters will now get to decide if the shift
revealed Romney as a statesman displaying the courage of his convictions or a politician seeking advantage
in a time of turmoil."

Russia's Putin Loves Romney!

Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Mitt Romney's characterization of his country as the
United States' "number one geopolitical foe" has actually helped Russia, ABC News reports.

Said Putin: "I'm grateful to him for formulating his stance so clearly because he has once again
proven the correctness of our approach to missile defense problems."

The Russian leader said Romney's comments "strengthened his resolve to oppose NATO's plan
for a missile defense shield in Eastern Europe, a system Russia believes will degrade its nuclear
deterrent. The U.S. insists the system is aimed at Iran, not Russia."

Please, let's talk about Mitt Romney, anything other than Obama's complete failure of foreign policy.

"We Came, We Saw, He DIED!"
Hillary Clinton

Listen to the Speech Obama gives to the UN Security Council on the success of the Arab Spring.  Listen to the admiration in his voice for the people that are now storming our embassies, burning our flag, and killing our ambassadors.

Yadda, Yadda, Yadda...I can't help if you don't want to look at reality and would rather trust your propagandist.  I've made no misstatements, you either can't read or do not want to read the facts.

At the end of the day...This will be a net negative for Obama.  Obama has 4 dead Americans and multiple embassies being attacked on 9/11.

Romney Loses His Advantage on the Economy

Four national polls that show a major shift towards President Obama in recent
weeks on economic issues:

A Fox News poll shows Obama and Romney exactly tied at 46% on who would better improve the economy
and create jobs.

A CNN poll finds the two candidates nearly even, 50% to 49%, on who would better handle the economy.

A Washington Post-ABC News poll also finds Obama and Romney in a statistical tie, 47% to 45%, on the
same question.

A Rasmussen poll shows Obama leading by 47% to 45% on who is more trusted on job creation.

At the end of the day... America has 4 dead Americans and multiple embassies being attacked on 9/11.

America is the name of a geographical area inside arbitrary borders. Geographical areas don't make decision to build embassies and provide security for embassies or overthow governments in other geographic areas where our government has an embassy - government bureaucrats do.

Obama, the Commander and Chump, the Buck Stops Here leader of the government has the blood of 4 dead government agents on his hands.
